<h2 class="p1">Gameweek 25 preview</h2>
It’s been a protracted start back after the overhaul. With the winter break and FA Cup action, we don’t see any action until the midweek games which take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 
Getting straight into the fixtures with a look at potential captains for Tuesday - Arsenal travel to Nottingham Forest. 
Buyako Saka (£10.4m) is highly owned, sitting at 68.4% - however teammate William Saliba (£9m) is the second highest owned player in the top 1k at 87.4%. 
Saka is due an attacking return, whilst Saliba missed out on passing bonus against Crystal Palace last week with 53 passes.

Ollie Watkins (£9.3m) is closely behind Saliba at 86.4%, and his Villa side face Newcastle at Villa Park. Without a goal in his last seven league games, perhaps he’s due. 
Brighton travel to Luton, and this is a game I’ll be following closely. But we’ll get to that later in my team reveal.
 Pascal Gross (£8.2m) is highly owned. 59% of teams have him, and he’s the highest owned Brighton asset. 
In fact, five Brighton players feature in the top 20 most owned. Joao Pedro (£7.7m) is in 19.3% of teams, and whilst that’s still a fair few teams, a captaincy could be a great option for an explosive night if he can haul. 
Saying that, I’d expect the likely captains to be between Saka, Watkins and Gross.

Wednesday’s action is all about Manchester City for me. 
Will Erling Haaland (£12m) be back in the starting XI for the visit of Burnley, and if so do you have a plan to bring him back in? 
Hopefully you have the funds to make this with one transfer. I’m presuming he’ll start, but we will hear more news the day or two before, and we have the luxury of seeing the line-up anyway.
City have a 5-3 over some teams - Arsenal for one, so a potential jump on point for some. If Haaland doesn’t start who are the alternatives? 
Rodri (£9.4m) is 74.7% owned so should be a safe pick - passing bonus should be guaranteed as always. 
Other well owned options are Julian Alvarez (£8.6m) - 22.8% and Phil Foden (£9.5m) - 30.7%.

The other day's games are Tottenham v Brentford and Liverpool v Chelsea. 
If you’re looking at Spurs assets, Pedro Porro (£7.8m) is 34.5% owned. He’s chalked up eight assists in Sky this season.
 Ivan Toney (£8.7m) had a goalscoring return after his eight month ban. He’s in 19.4% of teams already.

 Liverpool v Chelsea is probably a swerve for me. 
Cole Palmer (£6.5m) is 90% owned, but I won’t be looking at him for captaincy. 
Same goes for Virgil van Dijk (£9.9m) who is also in my team.
Even f I did own Darwin Nunez (£9.4m) I don’t think I’d captain the Uruguayan either.

The week's action wraps up with two games on Thursday. West Ham v Bournemouth and Wolves v Manchester United. 
Jarrod Bowen (£8.8m) is already in 26.9% of teams, so over a quarter of teams are covered.
 Alphonse Areola (£6.6m) is in 21.9%, so again more teams are covered off, and Dominic Solanke £7.8m is in 29.8%. 
Bowen and Solanke would be my two picks for captaincy, in that order.
