<h2 class="p1">Dan Cox's Sky Gameweek 39 preview</h2>
For the second consecutive week it’s another crucial six-day gameweek. I’ll preview the action day by day and have a look at some of the popular picks and players to consider for the season run in. 
There are just three games on Saturday - Crystal Palace v West Ham, Brentford v Nottingham Forest and Brighton v Wolves. 
Brentford’s David Raya (£6.7m) is in 52.7% of the top 1,000 teams - he could be a reasonable captaincy choice. He scored 11 points with a clean sheet and saves bonus in the 2-0 win over Chelsea. 
Brighton, who will be hoping to bounce back from Wednesday’s disappointing 3-1 defeat to Forest, have an abundance of options. 
Lewis Dunk (£7.9m) is almost guaranteed passing bonus every game and as a result has 74.7% ownership among the game's top managers. 
In midfield, there's  Karou Mitoma (£7.2m) at 15.1%, Alexis Mac Allister (£7.4m) at 25.8%, Solly March (£6.9m) on 35.2% or even Moises Caicedo (£6.7m) - just 0.9% owned. 
March and Mac Allister, with 159 and 147 points respectively, are the eighth and ninth-highest scoring midfielders this season. 
Brighton still have eight league games left, while other teams have just five, so if you don’t have any Brighton players I would try to get one or two in.

<h3>Sunday fixtures</h3>
There are five games on Sunday - most I would imagine will be on Erling Haaland (£11.5m) as captain as City travel to Fulham. 
We will get the benefit of seeing the City team sheet before the deadline. 
The Norwegian striker is now on an unbelievable 33 league goals for the season. It’ll be interesting to see what he gets priced at in next year's game. 
Haaland is in 93.8% of teams and it’s a big risk to go against him. He earned 16 points against Arsenal in midweek and was unlucky to score just once, as he registered five attempts on target. 
Manchester United face Aston Villa and Marcus Rashford (£8.1m), who was just 8.5% owned before Thursday's 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur is now in 66.8% of teams. 
He returned to action with a goal and an assist after missing the last league game against Forest. 
Rashford could also provide you with a captain against Brighton on Thursday, so if you can bring him back in on Sunday I would highly recommend doing so. 
Newcastle, who are closing in on a top-four finish, face struggling Southampton. If you wanted to try something different then Kieran Trippier (£7.8m) could be an option but that would be very risky. 
Liverpool also host Spurs at Anfield and while Mohamed Salah (£11.7m) and Harry Kane (£11.6m) could get a goal or two, I still can’t see past Haaland as captain.

<h3>Monday single game day - time to skip?</h3>
Monday is an interesting one with Leicester v Everton the only match. 
They are two teams in dreadful form with not many appealing assets from either side. 
This game does have a skip written all over it but James Maddison (£9.3m) is one player of interest. Already in 26.4% of teams, even if he could manage a single assist or a goal it would be a result for owners. 
It’s a case of weighing up whether it’s worth two transfers to bring him in and take him out.
<h3>Arsenal v Chelsea on Tuesday</h3>
It’s another single game day on Tuesday with Arsenal v Chelsea, so don’t sell all your Arsenal assets just yet. 
Chelsea have been terrible, so I can’t put up a case for bringing in any of their players. Buyako Saka (£9.5m) and Gabriel Martinelli (£8.0m) are 44.2% and 69.6% owned respectively and either would be a good choice. 
There's not much between them points wise, with Martinelli just edging Saka by 192 to 185.

<h3>Haaland v Salah on Wednesday, Dunk v Rashford Thursday</h3>
Wednesday is Liverpool v Fulham and Salah at 97.7% ownership is an option - but again, with Manchester City at home to West Ham, you just can’t go against Haaland. 
The gameweek concludes with the Brighton v United game. 
Most people should own Rashford or a Brighton player by then, so it’s just down to what you think on the night. 
Go for a Rashford goal or two, Lewis Dunk to hit 70 passes or maybe a Brighton midfielder.
