<h2 class="p1">Sky Sports Fantasy Football Gameweek 9 preview</h2>
There is two days of action this weekend before yet another international break. 
Last week was another frustrating one for many, with the single game days mainly a let down. 
And heading into this week, a potential injury to a well-owned player means a popular transfer could be on the cards this Saturday lunchtime. 
The action starts at Kenilworth Road as Luton host Tottenham Hotspupr in the 12:30 kick off. This game I suspect will be of interest to many, with potentially the best captain choice and a transfer in for many managers. 
James Maddison (£9.3m) is 30.6% owned and has been in fine form. He's managed 47 points from two goals and four assists. 
He even managed tier-one shots and passing bonus against Liverpool last weekend. 
The one whose ownership I’m certain will rocket though is Son Heung-min (£9.7m). With favourable fixtures like Luton, Fulham, Palace, Chelsea and Wolves, his 29.9% ownership will surely increase.
That's especially if Buyako Saka (£10.4m) does indeed have a muscle injury. Saka is 55% owned in the top 1,000, so given his price point I think a switch to Son is an easy option.

Nothing else really stands out to me on Saturday for captaincy. 
Manchester United have been terrible. Marcus Rashford (£10.9m) has been a waste of time. With one goal in seven starts and eight points in his last three games - no wonder he’s in just 3.8% of teams in the top 1k. 
The only player of interest could be Sofyan Amrabat (£7.3m) who achieved passing and tier-one tackle bonus last weekend.
<h3>Sunday fixtures</h3>
Sunday does have a few options. Last weekend's hat-trick hero Ollie Watkins (£9.3m) is an option as Aston Villa face local rivals Wolves. 
I don’t like to chase last week's points - 26 of them - but Villa do now face Wolves, West Ham, Luton, Forest and Fulham, so it’s not just a reactionary move. He’s now 30.5% owned in the top 1,000 and I expect this to increase.
West Ham host Newcastle after their 4-1 battering of PSG midweek and Kieran Trippier (£9.1m) is in great form. 
He’s the joint-second highest scoring defender now on 47 points and is 33.9% owned after another assist last weekend - four in total now - with passing and tackle bonus against Burnley. 
Brighton face Liverpool and as ever, Mohamed Salah (£11.5m) will be a popular captain, especially given he’s in 64.2% of the top 1,000 teams.
With three goals and four assists, he is ticking over without any explosive hauls yet.

Brighton did surprise me with their 6-1 battering last weekend, so who knows what will happen this weekend.
Despite conceding six and receiving a yellow card, Lewis Dunk (£8.3m) only finished on minus one. 
He's 12.3% owned and I get the feeling many are happy to move him on. Owners of Pervis Estupian (£8.1m), who is reported to be out for a month, will need to ship him out. 
The top of the table clash between last season's top two is one who long-time readers will know I try to avoid having a captain from but I think I may go for Erling Haaland (£12.0m) for City's visit to Arsenal. Watkins and Salah are good alternatives though.

As mentioned, the three single game days were largely disappointing. Nottingham Forest v Brentford last Sunday saw a disallowed Taiwo Awoniyi (£7.5m) goal and generally nothing else. 
Fulham v Chelsea did see a clean sheet and an assist for those who still own Levi Colwill (£7.5m) he got them a 20 point captaincy. 
Many didn’t have a captain as Nicolas Jackson (£8.2m) was suspended for the tie. Thiago Silva (£8.5m) didn’t hit passing bonus but did make tier-one tackles - even if it did take Sky a day or two to add the points on.
Luton v Burnley was another game that didn’t deliver. Jordan Beyer (£6.6m) failed to even post half the passing numbers he usually does and Luton scored a late goal to wipe out the clean sheet. 
Marvelous Nakamba (£6.6m) received a 93rd minute yellow card and failed to achieve tackle bonus - although by the next day he had been boosted to tier-two tackle bonus.
In a strange turn of events, his points were added, only for them to be removed Thursday morning for no tackle bonus at all, despite the Opta stats showing otherwise. 
This was rectified late on Thursday night, so Nakamba owners can sigh a breath of relief.
