<p><strong>Liverpool</strong> are clearly the frontrunners when it comes to the FPL potential of their Double Gameweek 26 fixtures. They face Norwich at home, a team they have historically enjoyed hosting, and Leeds, who are always capable of shipping goals. <strong>Mohamed Salah (£12.7m)</strong> will almost certainly be a <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fantasy-premier-league-triple-captain-and-when-to-use-it/"><strong>triple-captain target</strong></a>.</p>

Whilst Wolves will prove stubborn opponents, their lack of goals make <strong>Arsenal defenders</strong> tempting propositions. Their goalkeeper, <strong>Aaron Ramsdale (£5.1m)</strong> is likely to see a rise in popularity over the coming weeks.</p>
<p>Watford, Wolves and Spurs could do well over their Double Gameweek, but each will face sterner tests than Arsenal and Liverpool. <strong>We&#8217;d recommend targeting the latter</strong> for your Fantasy Premier League teams.</p>

<h2>Who are the Best Players for Double Gameweek 26?</h2>
<p><strong>Three Liverpool players seems like absolute must</strong> for Fantasy Premier League teams. That was the case prior to AFCON, and it&#8217;s most certainly the case going into Double Gameweek 26.</p>
<p>Aside from Mohamed Salah, <strong>Diogo Jota (£8.4m)</strong> is also highly likely to be popular amongst elite managers. Whilst wasteful at times, his xG and goals scored ratio is almost 1:1, meaning he is fully deserving of his <strong>10 goals so far this season</strong>. Aside from Salah, he is Liverpool&#8217;s most potent threat going forward, surpassing even <strong>Sadio Mane </strong>for attacking potency.</p>

<p><strong>Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.5m)</strong> is the highest scoring defender in FPL at the moment, and may well be a <strong>tempting captaincy option</strong> for the more adventurous Fantasy Premier League manager. With that said it&#8217;s his counterpart, <strong>Andy Robertson (£7.1m),</strong> who actually has the better numbers over the past ten gameweeks. He&#8217;s racked up <strong>four assists in his last five games</strong> too.</p>

<p>Outside of Liverpool, Arsenal&#8217;s <strong>Kieran Tierney (£5.1m)</strong> is likely to pick up some ownership. Playing <strong>Brentford and Wolves at home, </strong>Tierney could well add to some outstanding recent form, which has seen him score one goal and create three assists in his last seven games.</p>
<p>In fact, according to our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/"><strong>OPTA stats for FPL tool</strong></a>, Tierney is the second-highest scoring midfielder since Gameweek 15 (58 FPL points).</p>
<p>Arsenal midfielder <strong>Bukayo Saka (£6.4m)</strong> is already popular amongst FPL managers, but will likely become even more so ahead of Double Gameweek 26. Wolves, who have the <strong>fifth-best xGC in the league</strong>, could prove to be hard to break down for the Arsenal offence though.</p>

<h2>Fantasy Premier League Chip Strategy in Double Gameweek 26</h2>
<p>Lots of FPL managers will be wondering whether to use their <strong>Triple Captain</strong>, <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fpl-bench-boost-and-when-to-use-it/"><strong>Bench Boost</strong></a> or <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/the-second-free-hit-chip-for-fpl/"><strong>Free Hit</strong></a> chips in Double Gameweek 26.</p>
<p>Whilst all have their merits, it&#8217;s important to remember that <strong>you can&#8217;t use more than one chip on the same Gameweek</strong>.</p>
<p>As such, <strong>we&#8217;d recommend playing your Triple Captain in Double Gameweek 26</strong>. There almost certainly won&#8217;t be a better opportunity than the <strong>top FPL points scorer facing two weak defences at home</strong>.</p>
<p>Given the lack of other brilliant Double Gameweek fixtures, <strong>a Bench Boost is probably better saved</strong>. Whilst you could probably move to a team of 15 Double Gameweek players (especially if you have a Wildcard), many of the teams doubling in Gameweek 26 aren&#8217;t brilliant. Wildcarding in assets from Watford, Crystal Palace and Burnley for a Double Gameweek probably isn&#8217;t the most sustainable strategy.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s tempting to stack Arsenal and Liverpool players on a <strong>Double Gameweek 26 Free Hit</strong> but, given that many FPL managers will already have triple Liverpool and at least one Arsenal asset, there will probably be more optimal times to use a Free Hit. Using your Free Hit in Gameweek 26 removes the possibility of playing your Triple Captain chip too.</p>
