<h2>Dream Team Tonic Relay XI: James' December Wildcard</h2>
<p>In a first for Dream Team, we have unlimited transfers until 6.59pm today (December 20) due to the World Cup. I have a clean slate, so let’s get straight into the Wildcard team reveal.</p>
<p>A budget of £54.2m isn’t exactly where we would like it to be, so we’ve had to put in a few differentials that will hopefully do well and help increase the budget going forward.</p>
<p>The strategy for the team is to go for a mixture of big hitters and a few players with extra fixtures.</p>
<p>The first set of games are in the League Cup, so I’ve tried to target some of the 10 Premier League teams left in the competition with favourable fixtures.</p>
<p>Don’t forget European competitions don't start again until mid-February, so we all have a bigger pool of players to choose from.</p>
<p>Also, it’s a really short game month from December 20 to January 6, so don’t be afraid to take few short-term punts on players.</p>
