<p>Erling Haaland missed Manchester City&#8217;s Premier League match against Leicester on Saturday (October 29) &#8211; but what is the latest on his injury status ahead of FPL Gameweek 15.</p>
<p>Haaland was owned by more than 84% of FPL managers at the time of his injury, which came during a match against Borussia Dortmund last Tuesday. He is still in more than 80% of sides.</p>

<h2>What did Pep Guardiola say about Erling Haaland?</h2>
<p>Guardiola told reporters after the Dortmund game that his star striker had been suffering from fever, tiredness and a knock to his foot.</p>
<p>Prior to the Leicester game, he said a late decision would be made after training on Friday.</p>
<p>Haaland did not make Saturday&#8217;s squad and after the match, he told BBC Sport: &#8220;He has ligament damage &#8211; feels better but we have one more week.</p>
<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s not going to play against Sevilla because we are already qualified, it&#8217;s not necessary and hopefully against Fulham he can help us, or the next games against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup and Brentford.&#8221;</p>

<h3>Update 1/11/22: Pre-Champions League tie v Sevilla</h3>
<p>Guardiola provided an update ahead of the Sevilla game on Tuesday.</p>
<p>He <a href="https://twitter.com/ManCity/status/1587423715104591875">said</a>: &#8220;He feels better compared to Saturday and Sunday. But not 100%, we don&#8217;t want to take a risk, it makes no sense.</p>
<p>&#8220;Hopefully, he will be back for Fulham.&#8221;</p>
<h3>Update 4/11/22: Friday press conference</h3>
<p>Pep Guardiola met the media today (Friday, November 4) at 12.30pm ahead of Saturday&#8217;s Premier League game against Fulham.</p>
<p>Haaland was pictured training with his teammates on <a href="https://twitter.com/ManCity/status/1588274821502308362">Thursday</a>, raising hopes among fantasy managers that he could be fit for the weekend.</p>
<p>Guardiola said: &#8220;He&#8217;s much better. We will decide today. It’s a good step, he starts to train and we have training this afternoon and we will see.&#8221;</p>
<p>He added: &#8220;We&#8217;ll listen to his opinion and the doctor&#8217;s opinion and then see if he is good to play 90 minutes or fewer. We&#8217;ll see after training.&#8221;</p>
<p>There was also focus on Julian Alvarez, who has stood in for Haaland. His manager said he would be able to cope with the demands of playing three times in a week if required.</p>
<p>&#8220;He is so young,&#8221; Guardiola said.</p>
<p>&#8220;At that age you can play every day.&#8221;</p>
