A superb start to my FPL season as my Gameweek 1 Bench Boost came up trumps with 29 points, while my Liverpool triple stifled Mohamed Salah's goal to get me off to a flying start.
My two cheaper midfield picks in Mohammed Kudus and Tijjani Reijnders also returned well and I'm happy to hold them moving forward as both looked very dangerous.
The only disappointment was the Florian Wirtz captaincy pick but overall I'm very happy and excited going into Gameweek 2 - and indeed the coming period.

The strategy I outlined last week was to now use my Free Hit in Gameweek 2. I made an early transfer this week to accommodate this.
We have learned a lot over the weekend and this coming week and I've made my decision on how to move forward this week...
