My luck caught up with me this week as I was brought back down to Earth with a very harsh bump.
I brought in Chris Wood for Hugo Ekitike and fancied the match up vs West Ham so much that I firmly planted the triple captain chip on him; it didn't pay off.
I'm disappointed but still 100% stand by the move as the potential upside for such a good fixture, and low effective ownership, was huge, in my opinion, and even one return would have seen a green arrow; two would have sent me to the moon.
Hey, we put ourselves in a position to get lucky and didn't happen this time. I'm still in a good position and have a good team for Gameweek 4.
