For the first time in 467 days, Erling Haaland sits second in the Premier League’s top-scorer rankings – thanks to Mohamed Salah’s two goals vs Newcastle.
Haaland may have assisted vs Southampton, but the Manchester City striker now has just one goal in his last five league games.
Over this period Haaland has actually amassed the highest non-penalty xG in the Premier League (5.76) and the most shots on target (13). 
Up next are Crystal Palace, against whom he has five goals in three Premier League meetings.

FPL managers everywhere were scared when Alexander Isak came off injured after 21 minutes against Crystal Palace. But he recovered in just a few days to record 11 points in Newcastle’s 3-3 draw with Liverpool. 
It’s a continuation of his fine season, averaging 5.1 points per match – placing him inside the top 10 players in FPL. He also ranks fifth for his ICT Index of 84.2.
The Swede scored against Liverpool despite only having an xG of 0.12, but has been posting good underlying numbers. 
Isak has had an xG of at least 0.50 in four of his past seven league games, which includes a 21-minute cameo against Palace. 
Newcastle have a good upcoming run, too, with two 2s and three 3s in their next five.

Evanilson’s form rating is influenced by that bizarre game against Wolves in which he won three penalties.
However, the Brazilian has been impressive in general in the Premier League this season, even if he has only scored four goals.
 Evanilson has recorded an xG of at least 0.50 in each of his past four league games, despite only scoring in one of those.
Drawing blanks against both Wolves and Brighton, Evanilson still boasted an xG of 0.51, all without penalties. 
Then there’s the fact that Evanilson has won five penalties in the Premier League this season, more than any other player.
 In fact, no player in Europe’s top five leagues has won more penalties than the Bournemouth man.

Nicolas Jackson owners will have been cursing him being rested against Southampton, but it was for good reason. 
The Senegalese striker is one card away from a suspension, and Chelsea wanted their main forward available to face Tottenham. 
Chelsea have a very good fixture list coming up too, with a run of seven games given a FDR of 2 – after their game against Tottenham.
In his past two games, Jackson has two goals and an assist, with a total xG of 0.83 and xA of 0.16.
 Since the return from the November international break, only two strikers have averaged more xG on target per 90 minutes than Jackson’s 0.89 (among those with at least 135 minutes played). 
His shot placement ratio of 1.9 is also second-best in that timeframe.

As penalty taker, Matheus Cunha will likely remain the more popular Wolves option, but Jorgen Strand Larsen is hitting form at the right time. 
The Norwegian striker has delivered attacking returns in three of his past five games, scoring three goals alongside one assist. 
He was the player doing his best to keep Wolves alive in their recent 4-2 defeat to Bournemouth, scoring twice.
Even when Wolves were beaten 4-0 by Everton in midweek, Strand Larsen posted an xG of 0.65, more than any other player on either team. 
Only three strikers had a higher xG in gameweek 13 in the Premier League. 
More generally, Strand Larsen leads Wolves for shots on target in the league this season (14) and his side now have a run of three straight games with an FDR of 2.

Over the last five games, Wissa is the next-best striker for non-penalty xG behind Haaland (3.68).
Wissa is also the Premier League’s top-scoring striker in this period, with five goals in five.
While penalties are the duty of teammate Bryan Mbeumo, the Cameroon international is deployed much wider than his teammate Wissa who is now in a rich vein of form.
One factor to offset this form is Brentford’s upcoming fixture list. All of the next five opponents are 3 or above, based on FDR. 
Then again, three of those games are at home and Brentford are the Premier League’s best home team this season with 19 points.
