Surprise results were the story of FPL Gameweek 10, with some low-owned players hauling as a result.
Losses for Manchester City and Arsenal were among the results from the weekend &#8211; and below we cover the main highlights from an Fantasy Premier League (FPL) perspective.

<h2>Community increasingly tiring of misfiring Haaland</h2>
Just over 200,000 FPL managers transferred Erling Haaland out of their teams ahead of Gameweek 10, highlighting a small but growing discontent over the City forward&#8217;s form.
Another poor showing in front of goal at the weekend has seen another 178,000 managers move the Norwegian on and he&#8217;s currently the most popular transfer out since the deadline passed.
The Norwegian came into the weekend with just one goal in four league games.
And with City falling to a 2-1 away defeat to an impressive Bournemouth, Haaland failed to score again.
Haaland registered a sizeable expected goals (xG) tally of 2.33 against Southampton in Gameweek 9 &#8211; and again the data looked promising.
He had the joint-most shots in the league and an xG of 1.04 but could not find the back of the net &#8211; his woes highlighted by him failing to convert from close range late on.
Haaland&#8217;s high ownership helped him retain the title of most captained player among the top 250,000 managers.
Mohamed Salah was close behind though, and the Liverpool midfielder scored the winner against Brighton to earn backers nine FPL points.
Salah had a relatively quiet afternoon, racking up a lesser xG than Haaland (0.53), but his curling shot ensured he came good when his team needed him.
He is the third most popular transfer in ahead of Gameweek 11, with 143,000 new owners.

<h2>Gameweek 10 was the week for differentials</h2>
There was a smattering of highly owned players who scored well at the weekend, including Salah (nine), Josko Gvardiol (seven) and Chris Wood (seven).
Most of the top scorers were differentials however, with the majority well under 10% ownership.
The 11.6% owned Dominic Solanke (£7.6m) top scored on 16, while a goal and clean sheet from Nottingham Forest full-back Ola Aina saw him score 15 points.
Milos Kerkez&#8217;s two assists helped the 0.7% owned Bournemouth left-back to a 10 pointer, the same score as Antoine Semenyo, a popular Gameweek 6 Wildcard pick who many have since sold or benched for his tough fixture against City.
Leif Davis and Ipswich have kept just one clean sheet this season but the left-back&#8217;s attacking displays have caught the eye. A first goal of the season was a boost for those among the 2.3% of the game who started him.
And Bruno Fernandes rewarded patient owners with a long-awaited goal from the penalty spot.

<h2>Solanke will get plenty of chances to score &#8211; despite recent drought</h2>
Solanke was the second most sold forward before the deadline and the fifth most transferred out overall.
About 247,000 managers had tired of his lack of goal threat in recent games &#8211; and it was not without justification.
He had not had a shot on target in three league games, with his role and positioning often not ideal for goalscoring purposes.
FPL can be a cruel game though and so it proved again as Spurs beat Aston Villa 4-1, with Solanke scoring two and assisting one.
He now ranks fourth for xG (5.18) and fourth among forwards for big chances (10).
Ipswich are up next, a game which could Spurs run riot in. Ange Postecoglou&#8217;s men lead the league for xG, while the Tractor Boys have the worst expected goals conceded (xGC).

<h2>Forest firing &#8211; and solid at the back</h2>
FPL managers have been used to Forest battling relegation &#8211; and the term &#8216;third&#8217; would more commonly be used before the word &#8216;bottom&#8217; to describe their league position.
Nuno Espirito Santo&#8217;s side are third overall now though, with strong defence and an in-form Wood seeing them rack up points.
The latest team to suffer against them was West Ham, who were poor value for their 3-0 loss.
Only Liverpool have a better xGC than the Tricky Trees to date, with a solid backline earning them a fourth clean sheet.
Their xG is not as comparatively strong, ranking 13th for xG (13.91).
But focal point Wood is in clinical form, scoring 19 in 28 games since Espirito Santo took charge.
Forest rank bottom of the Hub&#8217;s fixture ticker over the next six gameweeks, however Ipswich in Gameweek 13 will likely offer more opportunities for points.

<h2>Lewis &#8216;cannot be rested&#8217; = a benching</h2>
Pep Guardiola told reporters after their Carabao Cup loss to Spurs in midweek that injury issues meant Rico Lewis had to start despite looking tired.
<blockquote>&#8220;My captain [Kyle Walker] is injured so I don&#8217;t have an alternative.
&#8220;Rico is the only player we cannot rest. We would like to rest, but we cannot do it.&#8221;</blockquote>
While this should have been music to the ears of owners of the budget defender, seasoned FPL managers knew better and expected a classic Guardiola benching in Gameweek 10.
And so it came to pass, with Walker making a return to the starting 11 against Bournemouth.

Guardiola&#8217;s post-match comments indicated Walker was not really fully ready to play &#8211; one of several fitness headaches he is dealing with among the squad at present. He said:

&#8220;Kyle [Walker], 16 days didn&#8217;t train with us until yesterday. Manu [Akanji] couldn’t play against Spurs and made an effort today.
“Walker &#8211; his last game was with the national team to reach 100 games and since then could not train one session, yesterday he did six minutes. It’s what it is. Accept it.”</blockquote>
Commenting on other defensive injuries to John Stones and Ruben Dias, Guardiola added:
<blockquote>“They [Stones and Dias] are injured. Ruben until the international break will be injured, John &#8211; I don’t know if he’ll be back for the next two games.”</blockquote>
While it&#8217;s not looking like the best time to invest in City players, Gvardiol continues to do well.
He scored his third league goal of the season, heading home to give City a chance of snatching a point against Bournemouth.
The Croatian ranks top among defenders for shots on target (seven) and moved level with Rayan Ait-Nouri for goals scored.
