<p>Fantasy Premier League (FPL) has revealed the first player prices for the 2025/26 game alongside numerous positional changes.</p>
<p>The announcements followed the unveiling of a series of rule changes &#8211; see our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fantasy-premier-league-ultimate-guide-fpl-tips">Ultimate Guide</a> for details.</p>
<p>It looks increasingly likely that the new game will launch in the coming days, depending on how many prices the Premier League decide to reveal.</p>
<p>Below, we take a look at the latest news in full.</p>

<h2>First FPL price reveals for 2025/26</h2>
<h3>Mohamed Salah (£14.5m) and Erling Haaland (£14.0m)</h3>
<p>It&#8217;s a price rise for Salah after his record-breaking FPL points tally of 344.</p>
<p>FPL has stopped short of putting him up to £15.0m like they did Haaland last season though &#8211; and with the Manchester City forward coming in at £14.0m this time, it looks like Salah&#8217;s price will be the ceiling in 2025/26.</p>
<p>But with both premium picks costing a total of £28.5m, fitting both in may be challenging.</p>

<h3>Goalkeeper &#8211; Jordan Pickford (£5.5m)</h3>
<p>Pickford has seen his price rise to what is usually the maximum for premium goalkeepers.</p>
<p>This follows the Everton shot-stopper topping the FPL points charts among keepers for two seasons running.</p>
<p>While this price hike is not unexpected based on his performances, Pickford&#8217;s appeal may depend on the cost of the Toffees&#8217; other defenders.</p>
<p>A £5.0m price tag for centre-back <strong>James Tarkowski </strong>would potentially make him more appealing following the <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-2025-26-changes-defensive-contributions">defensive contributions</a> points change.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not out of the question that other premium goalkeepers like <strong>Alisson </strong>and <strong>Ederson </strong>could come in at £6.0m, although it would be a surprise given Pickford has outscored them two seasons running.</p>

<h3>Defender &#8211; Rayan Ait-Nouri (£6.0m)</h3>
<p>Ait-Nouri joined Manchester City from Wolves in the summer transfer window.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a significant hike for the left-back, who scored four and assisted seven for 125 points last season.</p>
<p>His new club will have influenced this, with City keeping five more clean sheets than Wolves.</p>
<p>Although the 24-year-old is likely to get plenty of game time, he is not expected to be as nailed to start as he was at his old club.</p>
<p>But if he looks like a reliable starter, he will no doubt prove popular.</p>

<h3>Midfielder &#8211; Florian Wirtz (£8.5m)</h3>
<p>Big-money midfielder Wirtz looks slightly under-priced at £8.5m and could prove a steal if he hits the ground running for Liverpool.</p>
<p>Could a sizeable saving pn Salah persuade FPL managers to give the Egyptian a miss and spread the cash around their squads? High ownership is probable for Wirtz regardless.</p>
<p>Wirtz scored 57 and assisted 65 in 197 games for Bayer Leverkusen before securing a £116.5m move to the defending champions.</p>

<h3>Forward &#8211; Alexander Isak (£10.5m)</h3>
<p>Newcastle forward Isak has been linked with a move away from the club, with Liverpool reportedly among those interested.</p>
<p>But it looks like the Reds are set to sign <strong>Hugo Ekitike </strong>from Eintracht Frankfurt instead, so Isak could well stay on Tyneside.</p>
<p>He scored 23 league goals last season &#8211; second most behind Salah &#8211; leading to his price rising to double figures.</p>
<p>His transfer status and the price of other forwards will help decide whether he still represents value for money, however the Swedish international will still attract plenty of attention among FPL managers.</p>

<p>Most of these changes look sensible given their typical positioning last season.</p>
<p>But moving Bowen to a forward may reduce his appeal. The West Ham talisman played as a forward under Graham Potter frequently but whether he continues to in 2025/26 is uncertain.</p>
