<h2>When are the FPL blank and double gameweeks in 2025/26?</h2>

<p>Blank gameweeks occur when some teams don&#8217;t have a fixture, while double gameweeks see sides play more than once.</p>
<p>Typically, these gameweeks are caused by cup matches clashing with planned league games.</p>

<h2>Double Gameweek 36 latest</h2>
<p>Manchester City and Crystal Palace&#8217;s league fixture &#8211; meant to be played in Gameweek 31 &#8211; has now been rearranged.</p>
<p>It will slot into Gameweek 36, creating the following double gameweek fixtures for the two teams:</p>

<li><strong>Manchester City:</strong> Brentford (H) and Crystal Palace (H)</li>
<li><strong>Crystal Palace: </strong>Everton (H) and Manchester City (A)</li>

<h2>Will there be any more blank or double gameweeks?</h2>
<p>There was a possibility that the FA Cup final could result in a Blank Gameweek 37.</p>
<p>But the latest fixture announcement has ruled that out, so barring any unexpected incidents, there will be no more blanks or doubles after Gameweek 36.</p>
<p>City had reportedly requested changes to the schedule that would have seen Bournemouth double in Gameweek 36 and blank in Gameweek 37, however that has been ruled out by the confirmation of the Palace rearrangement.</p>
