<h2>Chris Tan's fixture analysis: Blank Gameweek 26</h2>
<p>The majority of games are over for Gameweek 25. How did our analysis fare?</p>
<p>We identified Brentford’s weakness on their left but it was <strong>Mohamed Salah (£13.0m)</strong> who exploited it due to <strong>Diogo Jota’s (£8.3m)</strong> injury.</p>
<p>We highlighted how Burnley concede a lot of shots in the box and that would benefit <strong>Bukayo Saka (£9.0m)</strong>. It was noted that Fulham concede the majority of chances from their centre that when combined with the amount of big chances they allow, it would bode well for <strong>Ollie Watkins (£8.7m)</strong>. Ultimately, we smashed it once again.</p>
<p>This week is crucial, with fewer teams in action and with a future blank on the horizon. Should you invest in Wolves and if so, which player? Alternatively, should you target teams you know won’t blank in Gameweek 29?</p>

<p>Arsenal, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Manchester United and Wolves are the most likely to score two or more goals, according to the odds.</p>
<p>They're also the most likely to keep a clean sheet alongside Crystal Palace.</p>

<h2><strong>FPL Blank Gameweek 26 fixtures analysed</strong></h2>
<h3>Aston Villa v Nottingham Forest</h3>
<p>Aston Villa are still in Champions League contention but they are struggling defensively without <strong>Boubacar Kamara (£5.0m)</strong>, who is out for the season.</p>
<p>Forest finally broke their slump but are expecting a points deduction, which could drag them back into the relegation fold.</p>
<p>Generally the home team has triumphed in previous games. Nottingham Forest won the reverse fixture 2-0 while Villa won 2-0 last season with a goal from <strong>Ollie Watkins (£8.7m)</strong> - and it was 1-1 the game prior to that.</p>

<p><strong>Additional factors to consider</strong></p>
<p>Villa’s recent attacking stats are great and they’re creating a lot of big chances. They don’t blank in Gameweek 29 and have some nice fixtures around it, which puts them at the top of the transfer-in list.</p>
<p>Their home attacking stats are excellent. They’re ranked fourth for xG and second for goals scored. Throughout the season, they’ve performed much better at home.</p>
<p>Forest’s recent defensive stats are excellent and they offer real threat on the break with pace. Their away xGC isn’t terrible but the average xGC is 1.74 and they’ve conceded an average of two goals per game, which suggests we may see more of the same.</p>
<p>Forest don’t have many clear-cut weaknesses but tend to allow the most chances from their centre and right. That’s effectively the Watkins zone.</p>
<p>Forest have the joint-third lowest clean sheet odds this week and Villa are joint third most likely to score more than two goals. This is a good match-up for Villa.</p>
<p>In the last six matches, Watkins leads Villa for both expected goal involvement (39%) and actual goal involvement (75%). He is their talisman, despite not being on penalties.</p>
<p>On that note, <strong>Douglas Luiz (£5.5m)</strong> is arguably the safest option for those in the market for a midfielder given his multiple avenues (set-pieces and penalties) to points, although he has to play more of a withdrawn role now Kamara is out.</p>
