FPL Blank Gameweek 28 fixtures have been confirmed following the conclusion of the FA Cup fifth round tonight (Wednesday, March 1).
FPL managers now know they&#8217;ll be without the likes of the ever-reliable Erling Haaland (£12.2m) and Marcus Rashford (£7.2m) for a week, with Manchester City and Manchester United among those without a Gameweek 28 fixture.
Here, we take a look at the confirmed fixture list and an initial overview of some of the players who might be popular fantasy picks.
Now the picture up to Gameweek 31 is clearer, FPL managers will be considering their chip strategy for the rest of the season.

<h2>FPL Blank Gameweek 28: Confirmed fixtures</h2>
Brighton, Fulham and Manchester City won their cup matches on Tuesday, while Leicester and Wolves were eliminated.
And on Wednesday, Manchester United made it to the quarter-finals &#8211; but Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur were knocked out by Grimsby and Sheffield United respectively.

This meant the final list of fixtures in FPL Blank Gameweek 28 was confirmed as:

<h2>Brentford among teams to target ahead of FPL Blank Gameweek 28</h2>
Brentford are in the unique position of having a double gameweek in 27, a fixture in 28 and another double in 29.
Bees players are therefore likely to be a popular choice in the coming weeks, although it&#8217;s worth noting that all their fixtures in double gameweeks 27 and 29 are away from home.
Should he be available, this may not be an issue for Ivan Toney (£7.6m).
The forward has a similar record home and away. At home, he&#8217;s scored seven from an expected goals (xG) of 6.75 &#8211; and away he&#8217;s netted seven from an xG of 6.86.
But he is close to a two-match ban for 10 yellow cards &#8211; with eight on his record.
There is also uncertainty over what will happen regarding his ongoing betting rules breach case, although Sky Sports has reported a hearing may not take place until April.

Defensively, David Raya (£4.8m) in goal and Ben Mee (£5.0m) are among the options.
Brentford have conceded 19 goals away from home &#8211; the ninth-best figure in the league &#8211; from an expected goals conceded (xGC) of 18.9.
At home, they&#8217;ve conceded 11 &#8211; but have a similar xGC to their away <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c="1" title="FPL Stats by OPTA - Player and Team Stats">stats</a> of 18.
<h3>Caution over Palace investment</h3>
Crystal Palace don&#8217;t blank in Gameweek 28 and have a double in 27.
But their talisman Wilfried Zaha (£7.2m) has been out with a hamstring injury, suffered in Gameweek 21 against Newcastle.
He could make his return in time for Gameweek 27, however his minutes could be managed initially and Palace first play Manchester City, which may limit their double appeal.
The Eagles rank second-worst for xGC since the FPL restart in Gameweek 17 and fourth-worst for xG.

<h3>Other options for FPL Blank Gameweek 28</h3>
Ollie Watkins (£7.3m) is in hot form, scoring in his last five league games.
He and Aston Villa have a fixture in Gameweek 28 &#8211; hosting Bournemouth &#8211; and a double in Gameweek 29 against Chelsea and Leicester.
He could be an alternative to Toney &#8211; or slotted in alongside the Brentford man.
Harry Kane (£11.7m) will also now be available in Gameweek 28.
And as has been the case for many an FPL manager in recent weeks, Arsenal assets remains relevant.
The Gunners have a fixture in Blank Gameweek 28, although they don&#8217;t double in either Gameweek 27 or 29.
Those who retain an Arsenal triple up will likely stick with it through Gameweek 28 at least.
