<h3>Chelsea v Everton</h3>
<h4>Last match</h4>
<p>Chelsea have close to their full squad available again but look far from convincing. The race for a Champions League spot is ultra tight though and they can’t afford to drop any points.</p>
<p>Everton are starting to falter a little and the injury to <strong>James Tarkowski</strong> will hurt their defensive solidity.</p>
<h4>Head to head</h4>
<p>The reverse fixture ended 0-0.</p>
<h4>Additional factors to consider</h4>
<p>Chelsea’s recent xG is poor but they have the third best home xG in the league, tend to score more at home and have only lost two home games all season.</p>
<p>Everton’s recent xGC is strong. They have the fourth best away xGC in the league and they’ve only conceded 12 goals in 16.</p>
<p>Based on the above stats, I’d be tempted to avoid both teams this week. There’s nothing that suggests Chelsea will score many.</p>
<p>Everton’s main weakness is their right-side. Chelsea set up as a 4-2-3-1 against Fulham but it was more of a two up front, with <strong>Nicolas Jackson </strong>operating on the left and <strong>Pedro Neto </strong>on the right.</p>
<p>If they utilise the same approach, then Jackson and<strong> Marc Cucurella</strong> are the main beneficiaries.</p>
<p>Chelsea have won four penalties this season and Everton have conceded two. If Chelsea manage to win one, it wouldn’t surprise me if <strong>Jordan Pickford</strong> saved a penalty from <strong>Cole Palmer</strong>.</p>
