<h2>FPL Blank Gameweek 34: Teams and fixtures to target</h2>

<p>These projections often shift as information like team news emerges.</p>
<h3>⚽ Target for goals: Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United</h3>

<li><strong>Liverpool</strong>: 2.16 v Crystal Palace (H)</li>
<li><strong>Arsenal</strong>: 2.13 v Newcastle (H)</li>
<li><strong>Manchester United</strong>: 1.84 v Brentford (H)</li>
<li><strong>Spurs</strong>: 1.69 v Wolves (A)</li>
</ul>
<p>The bulk of Free Hit teams this week will be made up of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United players.</p>
<p>That means there could be an opportunity to invest in some Spurs picks as differentials, especially considering how bad Wolves have been playing recently.</p>
<p>Liverpool’s Champions League qualification looks precarious and they need some winning momentum. Opponents Palace meanwhile could easily shoot up the rankings.</p>
<p>Arsenal’s loss to Manchester City has put a serious dent in their title challenge but on paper, they have the easier run in, despite form not being on their side.</p>
<p>Goal difference could come into play here too as it could be crucial.</p>
<p>United did well to pick up three points away to Chelsea, which could have ended their mini rut. Brentford will be eager to qualify in a European position too though.</p>
<p>For Spurs it’s out of their hands now. All they can do is maximise the available points and hope one of the teams above them slip up.</p>

<h3>💪 Clean sheets: Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Arsenal</strong>: 37% v Newcastle (H)</li>
<li><strong>Liverpool</strong>: 35% v Crystal Palace (H)</li>
<li><strong>Spurs</strong>: 33% v Wolves (A)</li>
<li><strong>Nottingham Forest</strong>: 30% v Sunderland (A)</li>
</ul>
<p>As mentioned above, Arsenal can’t afford anymore slip-ups and it’s telling that the best clean sheet odds of the week are below 40%. This could be a low-scoring one.</p>
<p>You never feel confident Liverpool will keep a clean sheet these days and Palace have players who can hurt them on the transition.</p>
<p>Similarly, Spurs don’t have the attributes to grind out games - they’re just going to have to outscore their opposition.</p>
<p>I feel Nottingham Forest are the most likely, after Arsenal, to keep a clean sheet given the league state for them and their opposition.</p>

<h2>FPL Blank Gameweek 34: Players to target</h2>
<p>Here are my top five players to target with their opponents' weaknesses in mind:</p>
<h3>🥇 <strong>Xavi Simons (v Wolves)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Target: Zonal match-up, set pieces and big chances</strong></p>
<p>The attacking stats aren't anything to get excited about but there's clear improvement under Roberto De Zerbi and this is the ideal opposition.</p>
<p>Wolves have the second worst defensive stats in the league, they're leaking big chances and conceding an average of two goals per game.</p>
<p>In recent matches, Wolves have conceded the most shots in the league from their right and that's where Simons operates. They're also terrible at defending set-pieces and headed attempts.</p>
<p>Simons shares corner duties for Spurs and averages the most crosses. In addition, he averages the most big chances for Spurs too.</p>
<p>He has all the routes to points for this game and is an amazing differential.</p>

<h3>🥈 <strong>Kai Havertz</strong> <strong>(v Newcastle)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Target: Big chances </strong></p>
<p>Newcastle are in disarray. They have the worst recent expected goals conceded (xGC) stats in the league and are second worst for big chances conceded.</p>
<p>Over the season, their defensive data is better away from home but the more recent stats back up their poor form.</p>
<p>Since his return, Havertz leads Arsenal for big chances and has been trusted to spearhead their attack. He scored against City at the weekend.</p>
<p>In addition, Newcastle have conceded five penalties this season and Arsenal have won four. Without <strong>Bukayo Saka</strong> on the pitch, Havertz is likely to be the next in line to take them.</p>
<p>The Gunners have the best goal and clean sheet projections.</p>
<p>Havertz could be a differential alongside <strong>Gabriel</strong>, who feels like a must for all parties. The defender hauled in the reverse fixture despite Arsenal conceding, thanks to a goal and defensive contribution points.</p>
