<h2>Chris Tan's fixture analysis: Double Gameweek 25</h2>
<p>Last week we called that <strong>Erling Haaland (£14.4m)</strong> was likely to exploit Everton's zonal weakness and how bad West Ham are at defending set-pieces.</p>
<p>And now here it is, the first big double gameweek that we’ve all been anticipating. To streamline the article, I’m going to be focusing on the teams who double and those where we may have tough benching decisions.</p>

<p>Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal are the most likely to score two or more goals, according to the odds. They're also the most likely to keep a clean sheet.</p>

<p>These stats are for the last six gameweeks. In line with the odds, Liverpool, City and Arsenal look to be the best teams for expected goals, with a handful of others performing well too.</p>

<p>Newcastle, West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur, Burnley and Fulham look like the current teams to target for goals.</p>

<h2><strong>FPL Double Gameweek 25 fixtures analysed</strong></h2>
<h3>Liverpool v Brentford (A) | Luton (H)</h3>
<p>Liverpool didn’t look great against Burnley but they got the job done and all three of their forwards returned.</p>
<p>Brentford look reinvigorated since the return of <strong>Ivan Toney (£8.2m) </strong>and have reverted to their high-intensity game.</p>
<p>Luton lost to Sheffield United but they can cause any teams problems with their direct approach.</p>
<p>Liverpool won the reverse fixture against Brentford 3-0 and both the previous games at Anfield (1-0 and 3-0) but lost 3-1 and drew 3-3 in the last two away games. <strong>Diogo Jota (£8.2m)</strong> and <strong>Mohamed Salah (£13.0m)</strong> scored in the reverse fixture.</p>
<p>Liverpool don’t have any European games this week, so the early kick-off won’t be an issue for once and they will be fresh for Brentford.</p>
<p>This will also provide them with a reasonable three days to recover for Luton, who are disadvantaged with a day less to recover. However, Liverpool might have one eye on their Carabao Cup final on the Sunday.</p>
<p><strong>Additional factors to consider</strong></p>
<p>Liverpool top the recent xG stats and they’re top for goals as well. They’re the best attack in the league at home but this drops off significantly away both in terms of xG and actual output.</p>
<p>Brentford’s recent xGC stats are average but they’re fourth for goals conceded, which suggests they’ve been unlucky.</p>
<p>Similarly, their home xGC is eighth worst in the league but they’re third worst for goals conceded. Defensively, they seem to fare better away.</p>
<p>Luton’s recent xGC stats are good but similar to Brentford, they’re seventh worst for goals conceded, which suggests they’ve also been unlucky. Their away form is poor and they have the highest average xGC in the league away from home, with only Sheffield United conceding more goals.</p>
<p>Brentford don’t have any glaring weaknesses but they do concede the most from their left, which is the side they tend to push forward in the attack.</p>
<p>That could result in a good match up for Jota, assuming Liverpool set up with a similar system that they utilised at the weekend.</p>

<p>Luton have an abundance of weaknesses and have conceded the third most goals in the league. This is highlighted by the high volume of shots in the box and big chances that they concede. <strong>Darwin Nunez (£7.6m)</strong> tops the stats in these metrics for Liverpool.</p>
<p>Luton’s zonal weaknesses appear to have levelled out but several right-sided forwards have hauled against them in the past.</p>
<p>Similar to Brentford, they attack with a left-side bias, and this could be another good match-up for Jota.</p>
<p>Liverpool’s odds of scoring more than two are great for both fixtures, which suggests they have arguably the best combined fixtures of the week.</p>
<p>Nunez is the clear leader in terms of expected goal involvement for Liverpool but it’s Jota who leads the actual goal involvement, followed by the Uruguayan.</p>
<p>These are the two I would be targeting, although <strong>Luis Diaz (£7.5m)</strong> is third for actual goal involvement and has returned in each of his last three.</p>
