<p>City struggled to break United down and they lack the fear factor without <strong>Erling Haaland</strong>. Palace will enjoy hitting them on the transition.</p>
<h4>Head to head</h4>
<p>The reverse fixture ended 2-2. Palace used to be a bogey team for City but the Eagles haven’t manage to beat them in recent years.</p>
<h4>Additional factors to consider</h4>
<p>City’s recent xG is average, which is bad considering their easy fixtures. They do however have the second best home xG in the league and average more than two goals per game.</p>
<p>Palace have strong recent xGC. They’re also the fourth best in the league away from home and they’ve only conceded 12 goals.</p>
<p>This game could potentially be a cat-and-mouse affair rather than a goal fest. The odds suggest a 2-1 and for those with a difficult benching decision, a City attacker could be the sacrifice.</p>
<p>Palace don’t have any standout positional weaknesses but do struggle to defend aerial attempts.</p>
<p>Without Haaland, there isn’t a strong aerial presence and the set-piece taker is dictated by who starts, which is difficult to predict lately.</p>
<p>City have only won three penalties this season and Palace have conceded two.</p>
