<p>Rich is a Fantasy Premier League veteran, and has one of the most enviable records out there. Notching two top 500 finishes and eight top 10k finishes, he is the only FPL manager never to finish outside the top 35k in each of his 15 seasons.</p>
<p>Rich will be revealing his team on a weekly basis in the 2021/22 season; providing observations and strategies where appropriate.</p>

<p>A tricky gameweek to navigate. The huge game between Manchester City and Liverpool did not disappoint, but clean sheets were in short supply across my team last week!  Success really depended on whether you owned (and captained?) <strong>Heung-Min Son </strong>last week.</p>
<p>There was always a chance I would leave some points on the bench in Gameweek 32.  My substitutes  - <strong>Kasper Schmeichel </strong>with a penalty save and <strong>Anthony Gordon</strong> with a winning goal, condemned me to a third successive red arrow.</p>
<p><strong>62 points</strong> was an above average score, but not high enough to climb. I did save a transfer, so hopefully have some options going into a big double gameweek!</p>

<h2>Strategy Execution</h2>
<p>It is still a tight call on whether to <strong>Bench Boost </strong>in Gameweek 33 or hold off and build towards a possibly more effective use of the chip in Gameweek 36.</p>
<p>Without a <strong>Wildcard</strong> left to play though, I am tempted to consider it this week, so that the remaining 5 free transfers this season can be used on acquiring key players for the run-in rather than trying to maintain a full playing bench for 4-5 more weeks.</p>
<p>I still have a <strong>Free Hit</strong> to use, and confirmation on further fixtures going into Gameweek 37 would be very useful.  Unless my team has a number of injuries to deal with after the European fixtures this week, I will hang on to it.</p>
<p>For the Bench Boost to be effective - a clean bill of health is needed across the full squad going into the weekend - which means no flagged players or new injuries in the next few days! Fingers crossed!</p>
