<h2>FPL Double Gameweek 33: Teams and fixtures to target</h2>
<p>Spread betting projections, where available, are taken from Hub partner site <a href="https://www.notonlyfpl.co.uk/">Not Only FPL</a> which uses Spreadex.</p>
<p>These projections often shift as information like team news emerges.</p>
<h3>⚽ Target for goals: Manchester City, Chelsea, Bournemouth and Brighton</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Manchester City</strong>: 4.45 v Arsenal (H) and Burnley (A)</li>
<li><strong>Chelsea</strong>: 3.12 v Manchester United (H) and Brighton (A)</li>
<li><strong>Bournemouth</strong>: 3.06 v Newcastle (A) and Leeds (H)</li>
<li><strong>Brighton</strong>: 3.06 v Spurs (A) and Chelsea (H)</li>
<li><strong>Leeds</strong>: 3.04 v Wolves (H) and Bournemouth (A)</li>

<p>You can see why we’re focusing on doublers this week - the numbers don’t lie and two games are better than one.</p>
<p>City have the worst and best fixture this week. They need to beat Arsenal, whereas a draw will be more than good enough for their rivals and Arsenal will park the bus.</p>
<p>Burnley should be a goal fest and they tend to roll over for City.</p>
<p>Chelsea are expected to be thoroughly tested by United and Brighton won’t be easy either.</p>
<p>Newcastle (A) is a tricky tie for Bournemouth and with other opponents Leeds still fighting to secure their survival, they will be fighting for their lives.</p>
<p>Spurs have dropped into the relegation zone and Roberto De Zerbi will be eager to make a mark against his former team.</p>
<p>Chelsea are only two points ahead of Brighton and the battle for fifth place is heating up.</p>
<p>Wolves are pretty much down now and Leeds could do with three points here. They’ll take what they can against Bournemouth.</p>

<h3>💪 Clean sheets: Manchester City, Leeds, Brighton</h3>

<li><strong>Manchester City</strong>: 34%/42% v Arsenal (H) and Burnley (A)</li>
<li><strong>Leeds</strong>: 40%/19% v Wolves (H) and Bournemouth (A)</li>
<li><strong>Brighton</strong>: 24%/23% v Spurs (A) and Chelsea (H)</li>
<li><strong>Chelsea</strong>: 22%/22% v Manchester United (H) and Brighton (A)</li>
<li><strong>Bournemouth</strong>: 14%/28% v Newcastle (A) and Leeds (H)</li>

<p>City have the best goal and clean sheet projections this week.</p>
<p>But with only three slots available, should you go for double attack or defence?</p>
<p>For Leeds, there’s a strong case to go double defence.</p>
<p>The wildcarders went for the double Brighton defence and were duly rewarded last week but both their opposition teams are more than capable of scoring this time around.</p>
<p>Chelsea’s defensive capabilities were exposed against City and I wouldn’t fancy their chances against United either.</p>
<p>I never feel confident about a Bournemouth clean sheet but when defensive contributions come into play, there could be merit going there.</p>

<h2>FPL Double Gameweek 33: Players to target</h2>
<p>Here are my top five players to target with their opponents' weaknesses in mind:</p>
<h3>🥇 <strong>Cole Palmer (v Manchester United and Brighton)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Target: Zonal match-up and penalties</strong></p>
<p>Chelsea’s attacking stats are strong but they’re not converting their chances.</p>
<p>Their defensive stats aren’t bad but the clean sheet projections suggest we should focus on their attackers, despite their opponents having decent defensive stats.</p>
<p>United are weakest from wide areas. Brighton have a huge weakness from their left and only two teams have conceded more shots from that side in recent games.</p>
<p>Palmer has indicated that his injury niggles are behind him. His opposition have conceded four and six penalties respectively this season and the Blues have won seven.</p>
<p>When playing in the hole, he still tends to drift right. This gives him a positive zonal match-up against United.</p>
<p><strong>Enzo Fernandez</strong> should return from the naughty step and that could move Palmer to the right to give him a direct match-up against Brighton’s major weakness, as well as Manchester United's zonal weakness.</p>

<h3>🥈 <strong>Dominic Calvert-Lewin</strong> <strong>(v Wolves and Bournemouth)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Target: Big Chances and set-pieces</strong></p>
<p>Leeds certainly don’t have great attacking stats but their defensive stats are very strong.</p>
<p>Wolves don’t carry much attacking threat and it’s clear why the clean sheet projections are so good for this game.</p>
<p>Bournemouth’s attacking data is much better and I’d treat this fixture as a bonus, with the main emphasis being the first one.</p>
<p>Wolves have replaced Burnley as the team to target and they’re leaking big chances.</p>
<p>They’re weakest on their right side, where they’ve conceded the most shots in the league recently. They’ve also conceded the most headed attempts and shots in the box.</p>

<p>Bournemouth are weakest from wide areas. They struggle to defend set-pieces and headed attempts.</p>
<p>Calvert-Lewin is the obvious pick from Leeds. He hauled against Wolves in the reverse fixture.</p>
<p>Although he doesn’t have the positional match-up, he’s the only player that generates a reasonable amount of expected goals (xG) and is a clear aerial threat.</p>
<p>Wolves have conceded three penalties and Bournemouth six this season. Leeds have won six.</p>
<p>For those hunting a differential, <strong>James Justin</strong> could be a dark horse given his positional match-up against Wolves.</p>
<p>He’s also reasonable at picking up defensive contributions, although <strong>Jaka Bijol</strong> is the one to target from that perspective and I wouldn’t be opposed to a double up this week if on a Free Hit.</p>

<h3>🥉 <strong>Marcus Tavernier (v Newcastle and Leeds)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Target: Zonal match-up and big chances</strong></p>
<p>Bournemouth have decent attacking stats and poor defensive numbers. You should therefore prioritise an attacker unless you’re hunting defensive contributions.</p>
<p>The clean sheet projections reflect that, despite the relatively poor attacking data from both oppositions.</p>
