<h2>Chris Tan's fixture analysis: Double Gameweek 34</h2>
<p>Last week, we nailed the <strong>Anthony Gordon (£6.0m)</strong> and <strong>Alexander Isak (£7.9m) </strong>match-ups. We also called that <strong>Jeremy Doku (£6.4m) </strong>would cause havoc and <strong>Erling Haaland (£14.3)</strong> would be the beneficiary.</p>
<p>This week many will be on a Free Hit and the remainder will be looking to bring in one to two players that could really make the difference. This article will highlight the players that are best placed to haul this week.</p>

<h2><strong>FPL Double Gameweek 34: Clean sheet and goalscoring odds</strong></h2>
<p>Liverpool and Arsenal are the pick of the teams who are doubling - but should we be ignoring some of the teams with a good single fixture?</p>
<p>Manchester United have a 42% chance of a clean sheet against Sheffield United - the second best figure for a single game - although their recent defensive stats don't provide confidence in that regard.</p>
<p>They also have the highest-rated fixture for scoring two or more goals.</p>
<p>Manchester City's game against Brighton offers a good chance of both a clean sheet and multiple goals for the title chasers.</p>
<p>Chelsea have just a 10% chance of scoring at least twice - potentially good news for those planning to go without <strong>Cole Palmer (£6.1m) </strong>in their starting 11s.</p>

<p>These stats are for the last six gameweeks. Liverpool, Chelsea, City, Newcastle and Fulham look to be the best teams for expected goals (xG).</p>

<h2><strong>FPL Double Gameweek 34: Team defensive stats (sorted by xGC per game)</strong></h2>
<p>It's a case of targeting United based on the stats, which would suggest Sheffield United's double is better than it looks on paper.</p>
<p>The Red Devils have the worst recent expected goals conceded (xGC), with their per-game average of 2.49 even worse than Luton's 2.19.</p>

<h2><strong>FPL Double Gameweek 34 fixtures analysed</strong></h2>
<h3>Luton v Brentford</h3>
<p>Brentford’s three points at the weekend gave them a massive boost and they’re effectively safe now unless a disaster happens.</p>
<p>Luton have a fighting chance but they need to take some points away from games like this, especially at home.</p>
<p>Brentford won the reverse fixture 3-1.</p>
<p><strong>Additional factors to consider</strong></p>
<p>Brentford’s recent xG is poor and over the season, they’re fairly average away from home.</p>
<p>But Luton’s recent xGC is terrible and their home xGC is the fourth worst in the league. Everybody scores against the Hatters.</p>
<p>They concede a high amount of shots in the box and big chances. They’re poor at defending crosses and set-pieces. They allow the most shots from their right and centre.</p>
<p><strong>Ivan Toney (£8.1m)</strong> was on the bench against Sheffield United and didn’t feature. He’s carrying an injury but it can’t be that bad if he was  on the bench.</p>
<p>If he plays, he should thrive based on Luton’s specific weaknesses. But if they continue to be cautious with him then <strong>Bryan Mbeumo (£6.8m)</strong> could be an explosive differential given his multiple routes to points. He has excellent goal threat, set-pieces and penalties when Toney isn’t on the pitch.</p>
<p>Luton have only conceded three penalties this season and Brentford have only won three.</p>
