<h2>FPL Gameweek 12: Teams and fixtures to target</h2>

<p>These will change throughout the week, so check the site and our Ultimate Guide closer to the deadline for an up-to-date picture.</p>
<h3>⚽ Target for goals: Liverpool, Arsenal, Bournemouth and Chelsea</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Liverpool:</strong> 2.39</li>
<li><strong>Arsenal: </strong>2.28</li>
<li><strong>Bournemouth: </strong>2.03</li>
<li><strong>Chelsea: </strong>1.96</li>
<li><strong>Manchester United: </strong>1.94</li>
</ul>
<p>Liverpool are projected to score the most goals but not many FPL managers have invested in their players and on current form, it’s difficult to go there.</p>
<p>Arsenal are expected to comfortably beat their North London rivals but we can’t overlook Spurs' away form.</p>
<p>Bournemouth's odds are interesting given how their form has dipped, which has coincided with a little uplift in West Ham’s.</p>
<p>United players could be a tempter with regards to captaincy this week.</p>

<h3>💪 Clean sheets: Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Fulham</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Arsenal: </strong>49%</li>
<li><strong>Chelsea: </strong>41%</li>
<li><strong>Liverpool: </strong>39%</li>
<li><strong>Fulham: </strong>38%</li>
</ul>
<p>Arsenal are the only team who consistently have clean sheet odds over 40%, which is why many will have doubled up on their defence. Sunderland broke their hot streak though and Spurs won’t be an easy one.</p>
<p>Chelsea’s clean sheet odds are more a reflection of Burnley’s lack of attacking threat than anything ese.</p>
<p>Liverpool have favourable odds against Nottingham Forest, however I wouldn’t trust their defence at the moment.</p>
<p>The odds still seem to be treating Sunderland like a newly promoted side - which they are - but they’re also top four and playing each game like it’s a cup final. I expect them to score here.</p>

<h2>FPL Gameweek 12: Players to target</h2>
<p>Here's my top five players to target with their opponents' weaknesses in mind:</p>
<h3>🥇<strong>Enzo Fernandez (v Burnley)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Target: Big chances, zonal match-up and set-pieces</strong></p>
<p>This is the money fixture this week and Chelsea offer several candidates who could benefit from the above.</p>
<p>Burnley leak big chances, they’ve conceded the most shots in the league from their right and they’re one of the worst teams at defending set-pieces.</p>
<p>Chelsea are only behind Arsenal in terms of team expected goals (xG) created.</p>
<p>Fernandez has dodged points recently and the question is why back him over some of the other options?</p>
<p><strong>Joao Pedro</strong> averages the most big chances but then it’s the Argentine. <strong>Reece James </strong>hogs the set-pieces but with Barcelona and Arsenal to come, surely this is the game he misses out on?</p>
<p><strong>Alejandro Garnacho</strong> is the obvious zonal beneficiary but Fernandez plays off the left too. When you combine all the factors, he has the most ways to exploit Burnley’s weaknesses.</p>

<h3>🥈<strong>Jean-Philippe Mateta (v Wolves)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Target: Zonal match-up </strong></p>
<p>Although their players will be scattered around the globe, Crystal Palace as a whole will welcome the international break after a period of heavy volume.</p>
<p>Wolves have a new manager in place but it’s unclear how much he can have changed things in a short time. They have conceded 13 goals in their last six and haven’t kept a single clean sheet.</p>
<p>No team has conceded more shots from the centre.</p>
<p>Palace are deadly away from home and Mateta could feast here.</p>
