<p>The number of popular Fantasy Premier League (FPL) players flagged as injury doubts reached alarming levels last week &#8211; but how are things looking ahead Gameweek 13?</p>
<p>Here, we take a look at some of the biggest injury issues &#8211; but with more European games to go, more could arise before the deadline.</p>

<h2>Gabriel</h2>
<p>Arsenal defender Gabriel scored one of the Gunners&#8217; five goals against Sporting on Tuesday, heading home from a corner.</p>
<p>But he was taken off late on, with Mikel Arteta forced to change his plans to bring on <strong>Raheem Sterling</strong>.</p>
<p>Speaking after the game, Arteta said of the centre-back:</p>
<p>&#8220;We had to make the change because he was feeling some discomfort. I was about to make the change for Raz [Sterling], poor thing, I couldn&#8217;t make the sub. We had to get him out.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>Jakub Kiwior</strong> came on for the Brazilian, who is now a potential doubt for Arsenal&#8217;s next league game against West Ham on Saturday.</p>
<p>As ever, Mikel Arteta&#8217;s press conference may not bring any definitive updates, so the 24.5% of FPL managers who own Gabriel may be in need of an option off their bench if he doesn&#8217;t make it.</p>

<p>Unless Arteta confirms Gabriel is out for a prolonged period, he is worth holding on to. The Gunners have the third best <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixture run</a> over the next six gameweeks.</p>

<h2>Guglielmo Vicario</h2>
<p>Vicario is in just 3.4% of FPL teams &#8211; but him being out for a while could have an impact on higher-owned players such as <strong>Pedro Porro</strong> (27%).</p>
<p>The Spurs goalkeeper is an integral part of their defence but is out for an unknown period after fracturing his ankle in the 0-4 win over Manchester City.</p>
<p>He is thought to have hurt himself in the first half but completed the game, making several saves after receiving treatment.</p>
<p>Spurs released a statement on Monday evening, a day after the City victory. It read:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;We can confirm that Guglielmo Vicario has today undergone surgery for a fracture of his right ankle.</p>
<p>&#8220;Guglielmo will be assessed by our medical staff to determine when he can return to training. We&#8217;re all behind you, Vic.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p><strong>Fraser Forster </strong>&#8211; who costs £4.3m in FPL &#8211; is expected to deputise.</p>

<h2>Harry Winks</h2>
<p>Winks is in just over 11% of teams. Although is is likely to be a budget bench option for the vast majority, losing squad depth at this time of year is always a concern for fantasy managers given the busy schedule.</p>
<p>The Leicester midfielder lasted 11 minutes against Chelsea on Saturday before going off, with now-departed manager Steve Cooper confirming he had a groin issue:</p>
<blockquote><p>“Fingers crossed. Sometimes these things can be a week, sometimes they can be… we saw what happened with Ricardo [Pereira].&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Pereira is expected to be out for several months &#8211; whoever replaces Cooper will hope Winks is not set to be out for a similar length of time.</p>

<p>Andersen picked up a calf injury during Fulham&#8217;s 1-4 loss to Wolves.</p>
<p>The Cottagers conceded twice after the central defender came off in the 79th minute, however Marco Silva had used all of his subs, leaving them with 10 men.</p>

<h2>Levi Colwill</h2>
<p>Colwill received treatment at the end of Chelsea&#8217;s win over Leicester.</p>
<p>Injury analyst Ben Dinnery indicated this was because of <a href="https://x.com/BenDinnery/status/1861723927774634148">illness</a> and the Englishman has trained this week.</p>

<p>Alexander-Arnold missed Gameweek 12 as he continued to recover from a hamstring issue suffered before the international break.</p>
<p>Speaking to the media ahead of Liverpool&#8217;s Champions League match against Real Madrid on Wednesday, Arne Slot revealed the latest on the full-back&#8217;s condition. He said:</p>
<blockquote><p>‘Trent is in the squad but he will not be available to start. He can maybe make a few minutes, in an ideal world he maybe doesn’t, but if it is really necessary he can make a few minutes tomorrow &#8211; but he is not going to start.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Number-one goalkeeper <strong>Alisson </strong>will <a href="https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/liverpool-v-real-madrid-team-news-1">not be ready</a> for the midweek fixture, nor will <strong>Diogo Jota</strong>, <strong>Federico Chiesa </strong>or <strong>Konstantinos Tsimikas</strong>.</p>
