<h2>Should we captain Salah every week?</h2>
<p>One of the biggest decisions FPL managers have to make each week is on which player to captain, with this providing the biggest variance for our FPL scores on a weekly basis.</p>
<p>It can be make or break when it comes to earning that crucial green arrow.</p>
<p>Fantasy managers have been more torn in their decision making in the last two gameweeks, with Salah having tricky away games against Manchester City and Newcastle.</p>
<p>But while many managers have looked elsewhere with their captaincy choice, the Egyptian continued to provide incredible consistency.</p>

<p>He registered his ninth and 10th double-digit hauls of the season, with five goal involvements.</p>
<p>FPL managers should now confidently be in a position to captain Mohamed Salah in any given gameweek. He's averaging more than 10 points per game, scoring in seven consecutive matches and racking up a massive 17 bonus points in this time.</p>
<p>He's proven himself to be fixture-proof with his recent hauls against Arsenal, Brighton and Manchester City.</p>
<p>Liverpool's fixtures now improve too, with the Reds facing Everton, Fulham, Spurs, Leicester and West Ham in their remaining December fixtures.</p>
<p>Salah is now the most popular pick in the game, with his ownership passing 60% for the first time this season.</p>
<p>I'd be confident captaining him over the entire festive period, especially since he's missed just 33 minutes of action all season.</p>

<h2>Ultra Question: Best defenders for the next five gameweeks?</h2>
<p>On Liverpool, I'd also look to add one of their defenders to your squad to capitalise on their outstanding output.</p>
<p>They have the best defensive record of any team in the league this season, with seven clean sheets and just 11 goals conceded.</p>
