<h2>What to do with Gabriel?</h2>
<p>Arsenal centre-back Gabriel has been a frustrating hold for the last three gameweeks - he's been an injury doubt going into every single game.</p>
<p>He remains a doubt for the visit of Everton, however it has been reported that he could be ready to return and he just wasn't risked in the Champions League in midweek.</p>
<p>With Carabao Cup action for Arsenal next week, there's plenty of opportunity to further manage Gabriel's minutes heading into the congested festive period.</p>
<p>If the Brazilian can play four league games over this December schedule, there's high hopes of him being among the highest-scoring defenders in the game for this spell.</p>

<p>Arsenal's schedule of Everton, Crystal Palace, Ipswich Town and Brentford feels like a good opportunity for clean sheets, particularly in the home games against Everton and Ipswich.</p>
<p>Our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixture ticker</a> puts Liverpool's clean sheet potential marginally ahead of the Gunners' over the next four games but there's little to split the pair, with both vying for the top spot.</p>
<p>The added motivation of holding Gabriel is his goal threat from set-pieces, especially since Arsenal have had a lot of joy through these channels in recent gameweeks.</p>
<p>Gabriel already has four goal involvements from 13 appearances this season, ranking top among defenders for big chances (six).</p>
<p>I'm not hopeful that we'll get a true update on his condition in Mikel Arteta's <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/premier-league-predicted-lineups">press conference</a> on Friday afternoon, but I would still hold him.</p>
<p>If your bench is light in terms of covering a potential absence, then a transfer would be best spent on improving your fourth or fifth defender. A strong bench is key for the next period of games.</p>
<p>Aston Villa's <strong>Matty Cash (£4.4m) </strong>and Chelsea's <strong>Levi Colwill (£4.5m) </strong>are among the best budget options in the game right now in my opinion.</p>

<p>One week ago in this very article series, I discussed how we might be able to view <strong>Mohamed Salah</strong> as perma-captain for the rest of the season!</p>
<p>One gameweek later, compounded by a late postponement for Liverpool last weekend, it's <strong>Cole Palmer</strong> ahead in the AI predictions for this week and with the momentum in the community too.</p>
