<h2>Best budget FPL midfielders for £6.0m or less</h2>
<h3>Crysencio Summerville (£4.4m)</h3>
It wasn&#8217;t until Gameweek 12 that Summerville made his first start. In the four games after that though, he was electric.
Four consecutive goals &#8211; including a dramatic 89th minute winner against Liverpool at Anfield, sent him into the World Cup break on a high. He also grabbed an assist.
Summerville and Leeds don&#8217;t have the best two fixtures after the restart &#8211; Manchester City and Newcastle &#8211; but the fixture ticker looks a lot healthier after that.
Potential investors should also be aware that the Dutchman picked up a knock in a friendly against Elche on December 8. It is hoped it is not too bad but keep an eye on our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/premier-league-predicted-lineups">predicted lineups</a> piece ahead of Gameweek 17.
<h3>Andreas Pereira (£4.6m)</h3>
Pereira&#8217;s case for being the standout pick at this price is strengthened by Fulham&#8217;s favourable fixtures &#8211; our ticker ranks them third best overall between Gameweek 17 and 24.
Fulham play twice in Gameweek 19, facing Leicester and Chelsea.
The Brazilian has recorded two goals and five assists so far this season, establishing himself as a key player in the Fulham side since joining from Manchester United in the summer.
Alongside Bournemouth&#8217;s Marcus Tavernier (£4.9m), he has accumulated the most FPL points of midfielders priced at £5.0m or less.
With set pieces in his locker and being backup penalty taker to Aleksander Mitrovic (£6.8m), there are plenty of routes to points with Pereira.

<h3>Granit Xhaka (£5.1m)</h3>
With three goals and three assists, the Swiss international is having an unusually successful year in front of goal by his standards.
He has been given a more attacking role by Mikel Arteta this season, seeing him push further ahead than his central midfield partner Thomas Partey (£4.8m).
This has resulted in him having 16 shots on goal in 14 games, nine of which coming in the box and resulting in four big chances.
Those numbers fall short of Gunners&#8217; trio Bukayo Saka (£8.0m), Gabriel Martinelli (£6.8m) and Martin Odegaard (£6.4m) but Xhaka represents a significant saving.
Arsenal sit fourth on our fixture ticker up to Gameweek 24 and with Gabriel Jesus (£8.0m) out injured, the potential for Xhaka being one of three Gunners picks is perhaps higher. He could be paired with one of the three above plus a defender.

At the top of the budget price bracket, Almiron is likely to be one of the most highly owned midfielders in the game come Boxing Day.
In searing hot form, the Paraguayan has scored eight goals and assisted two.
He has the most points of any midfielder in the game &#8211; 93 &#8211; three ahead of City star Kevin De Bruyne (£12.6m).
Almiron has outperformed his expected goals (xG) tally of 4.79 but that is unlikely to deter the masses.
Newcastle sit mid-table on our fixture ticker for games after the restart but they come into Christmas sitting third in the league and full of confidence.
They have scored the fourth-highest number of goals &#8211; 29 &#8211; compared to an xG of 27.81 (fifth).
