<h2>FPL Gameweek 1 - Brief Review</h2>
<p>A very enjoyable weekend of football and great to see fans back in stadiums! We were treated to thirty four goals and no draws, as attack won out over defence.</p>
<p>From an FPL perspective, things went quite predictably with regards to key elections and teams. Perhaps Aston Villa and Manchester City disappointed from the popular picks but it was a very high scoring opening gameweek. A general feel-good factor is present in the community and long may it continue..</p>

<h2><strong>FPL </strong><strong>Gameweek 1</strong><strong> - My Team</strong></h2>
<p>I was very pleased with the opening week score of <strong>100 points </strong>and a ranking around the Top 5%. Although there were a lot of similar scores and a few who did even better, it is important to feel good when your team does well.</p>
<p>Beyond the score itself, I am happy with the majority of my squad. Triple assets from the victorious <strong>Manchester United</strong> and <strong>Liverpool,</strong> along with wins for <strong>West Ham</strong>, <strong>Brighton</strong> and <strong>Brentford</strong> in the supporting cast mean there is no immediate cause for concern.</p>
<p>The template premiums of <strong>Mohamed Salah</strong> and <strong>Bruno Fernandes</strong> more than justified their '<strong>essential?</strong>' status. <strong>Mason Greenwood</strong> and <strong>Michail Antonio</strong> also shone for the mid-priced bracket.</p>
<p>Only the performances of Aston Villa (<em><strong>Danny Ings</strong></em>)  and Leeds United (<strong><em>Raphinha</em>)</strong> have raised an eyebrow but both teams now have home games in Gameweek 2 to redeem themselves.</p>
