FPL Double Gameweek 27 is nearly upon us &#8211; and here&#8217;s the latest key team news for the teams with two fixtures in the week ahead.
Brighton, Brentford, Crystal Palace and Southampton are the teams with a <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-blank-double-gameweek-guide">double gameweek</a>.

<h2>FPL Gameweek 27: Brighton team news</h2>
Roberto De Zerbi met with the media on Friday morning (March 10) ahead of their trip to Leeds on Saturday. The Seagulls will host Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
Top of the list of concerns for FPL managers, particularly those who played their <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fantasy-premier-league-wildcard-and-when-to-use-it">Wildcard</a>  in Gameweek 26, was Brighton&#8217;s goalkeeper situation.
Established number one Robert Sanchez (£4.6m) was dropped for Jason Steele (£3.9m) for the 4-0 win over West Ham.

After the Hammers result, De Zerbi said Steele was &#8216;closer to my idea, my style&#8217;, referring to Steele&#8217;s technical ability with the ball at his feet.
He did offer some hope for Sanchez owners &#8211; 11.2% of FPL managers &#8211; as he thought the Spaniard could &#8216;arrive at the same level&#8217;.
So, all eyes were on Friday&#8217;s press conference to see if De Zerbi would offer any more information.
He did. But at least for now, it is not promising news for those hoping for a Sanchez comeback. He said:
<blockquote>&#8220;One of the best relationships I have in the dressing room is with Rob Sanchez.
&#8220;At this moment, I prefer Jason, but only for our style. Robert can improve in this part. I have been clear and honest.&#8221;</blockquote>
Elsewhere, Solly March (£5.1m) has reportedly been carrying a minor niggle in recent weeks.
But De Zerbi said March was &#8216;on the list&#8217; for tomorrow, presumably meaning he is likely to at least be in the squad.
Defender Levi Colwill (£4.4m) was also deemed to be &#8216;on the list&#8217;, however De Zerbi then said he wanted to &#8216;see how Levi is this morning before making a final decision on the squad&#8217;.
March played 75 minutes of the West Ham game, having previously missed the Seagulls&#8217; FA Cup fifth-round tie, so his owners in FPL should hopefully be OK.

<h2>FPL Gameweek 27: Brentford team news</h2>
Brentford manager Thomas Frank has a squad with a mostly clean bill of health to select ahead of Double Gameweek 27.
Midfielder Keane Lewis-Potter (£5.2m) could be out for up to eight weeks after knee surgery, while backup goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha (£4.3m) is also out of the Everton game on Saturday.
Neither are regular starters for the Bees though, so FPL managers have no reported concerns as things stand.
Ivan Toney (£7.8m), fresh from his goal against Fulham in Gameweek 26, will be among the most popular captain picks for the double.
He has been brought in by more than 464,000 players already this week.

<h2>FPL Gameweek 27: Crystal Palace team news</h2>
Patrick Viera spoke to the media at 1pm on Friday.
Star man Wilfried Zaha (£7.2m) returned from injury in Gameweek 26, playing a full 90 minutes in Palace&#8217;s 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa.
The main issue for Palace, in terms of regulars, is the absence of Cheick Doucoure (£5.0m).
The defensive midfielder misses out after a red card last weekend.
In goal, Vicente Guaita (£4.4m) should have a clear run, with Sam Johnstone (£4.4m) ruled out with a calf problem.
<h2>FPL Gameweek 27: Southampton team news</h2>
Interim manager Ruben Selles&#8217; press conference also took place on Friday afternoon.
Carlos Alcaraz (£5.0m) was the hero in Gameweek 26, scoring the only goal of the game against Leicester.
But the midfielder hurt his knee celebrating and Selles confirmed he was a doubt for the first of Saints&#8217; double, against Manchester United.
He <a href="https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2023-03-10/team-news-manchester-united-southampton-premier-league-2022-23">said</a>:
<blockquote>&#8220;Charly is doing better. He made training today and we still need to see if he will be in the squad or not. Tomorrow will be the final test.
“They are young players and they need to learn those situations and it was in the emotion of the moment. He has been feeling a little bit guilty, but let’s see if he can make it or not.
“If he is not fit for the game he will for sure [be fit] for the midweek game against Brentford. As I have said, we are learning together and that’s a lesson for him.”</blockquote>
Southampton have no other new injury concerns ahead of Gameweek 27.
