Eight teams took to the field in FPL Blank Gameweek 28 alongside the FA Cup quarter-finals &#8211; with the Premier League now pausing for the international break, we take a look at some of the key points of the weekend from an FPL perspective.

<h2>FPL Gameweek 28: Saka the ideal captain, Saliba injury latest, Conte outburst</h2>
Bukayo Saka (£8.6m) topped the charts for FPL points, with two goals, an assist and maximum bonus in Arsenal&#8217;s 4-1 win over managerless Crystal Palace.
He was second-most popular captain among the top 250,000 managers (19.6%).
Harry Kane (£11.8m) was backed by more than half &#8211; and while he netted his 21st league goal of the season, his six points were eclipsed by Saka&#8217;s 18.
His Tottenham Hotspur side had gone 3-1 up against Southampton, with goals also coming for wing-back Pedro Porro (£4.8m) and Ivan Perisic (£5.4m).
But Southampton came roaring back, with Theo Walcott (£4.8m) and a stoppage-tiome James Ward-Prowse (£6.3m) penalty evening things up at 3-3.
It sparked a remarkable post-match <a href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65003937">outburst</a> from Spurs manager Antonio Conte, leading to questions over whether his time in the manager&#8217;s chair could be coming to an end.

There were also goals for Gabriel Martinelli (£6.6m) and Granit Xhaka (£4.9m) in the Arsenal game, with assists for Kieran Tierney (£4.6m), Ben White (£4.7m) and Leandro Trossard (£6.7m).
Despite concerns over his expected minutes having played 120 minutes in the Europa League midweek, Martinelli played 83 minutes.
Gabriel Jesus (£7.9m) replaced Trossard on the 65th minute mark as he continued his comeback from injury.
But there was no William Saliba (£5.2m) in the squad.
The Frenchman picked up a back injury against Sporting CP in the Europa League, while Takehiro Tomiyasu (£4.2m) was also forced off.
Post-Palace, Mikel Arteta said he hoped Saliba&#8217;s injury was &#8216;going to be better news&#8217; than than the Japanese defender&#8217;s prognosis, whose precise time on the sidelines is also currently unknown.
Saliba is in 30.3% of FPL teams, so there will be plenty of managers keeping a close eye out for news during the international break.
Reports from France indicated he could be out for several weeks.

<h2>FPL Gameweek 28: Havertz wins Watkins battle</h2>
Kai Havertz (£7.6m) and Ollie Watkins (£7.5m) were among the most popular players brought in ahead of the deadline on Friday.
Watkins was the more popular of the two and he picked up an assist in Aston Villa&#8217;s 3-0 victory over Bournemouth.
Tyrone Mings (£4.3m) was the star of that match though, with an assist and clean sheet giving him a 12 point haul.
Havertz couldn&#8217;t match Mings, however he did outscore Watkins.
The German converted a penalty in Chelsea&#8217;s 2-2 home draw with Everton, scoring eight FPL points.
That was the same return as Joao Felix (£7.6m), favoured by the Hub&#8217;s <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">predicted points</a> algorithm in recent weeks.
The headlines were stolen by Sean Dyche&#8217;s men though, with 22-year-old Ellis Simms (£4.5m) scoring a late equaliser.

<h2>FPL Gameweek 28 key stats &#8211; and the best of the rest</h2>
Leeds picked up a vital three points in a 4-2 win over Wolves, with Jack Harrison (£5.7m), Luke Ayling (£4.5m), Rasmus Kristensen (£4.7m) and Rodrigo (£6.3m) on target.
It was Harrison&#8217;s second goal in two games and Rodrigo&#8217;s first since his return from injury in Gameweek 28. He got 23 minutes off the bench.
Jonny (£4.3m) and Matheus Cunha (£5.4m) were the scorers for Wolves, however the former also picked up a straight red card after a VAR review for a challenge on Ayling.
That wasn&#8217;t the end of the misery for Julen Lopetegui&#8217;s men. Matheus Nunes (£4.8m) received a red card while on the bench in the aftermath of Leeds&#8217; fourth goal.
Wolves felt there was a foul on Adama Traore (£4.9m) in the build up &#8211; but despite an on-field VAR review, the goal stood.
Elsewhere, Brentford drew 1-1 with Leicester. James Maddison (£8.2m) assisted for Harvey Barnes (£6.7m), while Mathias Jensen (£4.8m) scored for the Bees.  Substitute Shandon Baptiste (£4.5m) was sent of for two late yellow cards.
Danny Ward (£4.0m) was dropped in favour of Daniel Iverson (£3.9m) in goal.

<h2>FA Cup quarter-finals: Blank Gameweek 32 confirmed, Mitrovic sees red</h2>
Manchester United, Manchester City and Brighton made it through to the FA Cup semi-finals over the weekend.
The implications of their progress on Blank Gameweek 32 is outlined in our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-blank-double-gameweek-guide">Blank and Double Gameweek Guide</a>.
The other significant news from an FPL perspective was the sending off of Willian (£5.5m) and Aleksandr Mitrovic (£6.6m) in Fulham&#8217;s 3-1 loss to United.
Willian was dismissed for handling the ball on the line from a Jadon Sancho (£7.1m). The incident led to manager Marco Silva being sent to the stands and Mitrovic being sent off after confronting the referee.
Mitrovic will miss at least three league games, while Willian will be back in time for Gameweek 30.
Erling Haaland (£12.0m) was the most transferred out player ahead of his Gameweek 28 blank.
The Norwegian&#8217;s price has dropped from £12.2m, although he still remains in just over 75% of teams.
City beat Burnley 6-0, with a hat-trick from Haaland reminding FPL managers just what they were missing ahead of Gameweek 29.
