<h2>FPL Gameweek 29: Teams and fixtures to target</h2>
<p>Spread betting projections, where available, are taken from Hub partner site <a href="https://www.notonlyfpl.co.uk/">Not Only FPL</a>, which uses Spreadex.</p>
<p>These projections often shift as information like team news emerges.</p>
<h3>⚽ Target for goals: Liverpool, Manchester City and Everton</h3>

<li><strong>Liverpool</strong>: 2.27 v Wolves (A)</li>
<li><strong>Manchester City</strong>: 2.26 v Nottingham Forest (H)</li>
<li><strong>Everton</strong>: 1.81 v Burnley (H)</li>
<li><strong>Arsenal: </strong>1.74 v Brighton (A)</li>
</ul>
<p>Wolves have improved lately but they’re still conceding plenty of goals and Liverpool are showing more attacking threat.</p>
<p>Manchester City aren’t far behind and with a home fixture against an unsettled Nottingham Forest, you’d expect goals.</p>
<p>That being considered though, City are very much in game management mode as they preserve energy for their congested fixture run.</p>
<p>Everton host the league's whipping boys, although Burnley are showing far more fight lately, which is making for entertaining games.</p>
<p>Arsenal are still heavily reliant on set-pieces as they still haven’t found a system to unlock their attacking talent.</p>

<h3>💪 Clean sheets: Everton, Manchester City and Arsenal</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Everton</strong>:  41% v Burnley (H)</li>
<li><strong>Manchester City</strong>: 40% v Nottingham Forest (H)</li>
<li><strong>Arsenal</strong>: 40% v Brighton (A)</li>
<li><strong>Liverpool</strong>: 39% v Wolves (A)</li>
<li><strong>Leeds</strong>: 37% v Sunderland (H)</li>
</ul>
<p>Unlike last week, this week has the potential for a lot of clean sheets, particularly given the short turnaround.</p>
<p>I’m expecting fatigue will come into play, with a lot of game management.</p>
<p>Everton have the highest projection but Burnley have nothing to lose now and recent opposition haven’t managed to shut them out.</p>
<p>City have clicked into relentless mode. They’re chasing the league, they’ve done it before and with the experience down their spine, they can manage games out.</p>
<p>Arsenal rarely give up chances and their title challenge is built on their defence.</p>
<p>Sunderland have been wavering recently and attack has never been their strong point, whereas Leeds are solid at home.</p>

<h2>FPL Gameweek 29: Players to target</h2>
<p>Here are my top five players to target with their opponents' weaknesses in mind:</p>
<h3>🥇 Hugo Ekitiké (v Wolves)</h3>
<p><strong>Target: Zonal match-up, big chances and shots in the box</strong></p>
<p>For all their improvements, Wolves still have the worst expected goals conceded (xGC) in the league and they’re leaking big chances.</p>
<p>Furthermore, they’re much worse at home in terms of xGC. This fixture has the highest projected goals of the week.</p>
<p>Wolves have conceded the second most shots from their right, they leak big chances and shots in the box. They’re also poor at defending headed attempts - good news again for <strong>Virgil Van Dijk </strong>owners.</p>
<p>While typically, you’d associate <strong>Cody Gakpo</strong> as the beneficiary of this match-up, the right opposition zone is actually where Ekitike tends to drift.</p>
<p>He dominates Liverpool for shots in the box and big chances too and is off the back off a haul.</p>

<h3>🥈 Rayan Cherki (v Nottingham Forest)</h3>
<p><strong>Target: Zonal match-up and set-pieces</strong></p>
<p>This fixture is a close second in terms of projected goals. City have been outperforming their xG and Forest have conceded slightly more than their xGC indicates they should have.</p>
<p>Forest have conceded the fifth most shots in the league from their left, the most headed attempts and fourth most attempts from set-pieces.</p>
<p>Cherki is the creative hub of City and has a high expectation of goal involvement with set-piece duties and passing ability - and he has a decent shot on him.</p>
