<p>Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers have numerous injury issues to assess after Gameweek 28 &#8211; but who&#8217;s on the treatment table and what&#8217;s the latest on their fitness?</p>
<p>A tight turnaround to Gameweek 29 is not ideal, with transfer decisions having to be made by Tuesday&#8217;s 18:00 deadline.</p>
<p>Several popular players picked up injuries or were absent for Gameweek 28 &#8211; here&#8217;s the key players and the latest on them.</p>

<h2>Erling Haaland</h2>
<p>Haaland was left out of Manchester City&#8217;s squad against Leeds after suffering an injury in training. Pep Guardiola said ahead of the game:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Two days ago, in the last moments of training, he had some problems, a little injury. It&#8217;s not a big issue but he&#8217;s not ready for today.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>There were reports that the Norwegian was expected to be <a href="https://x.com/City_Xtra/status/2027777575582347341">ready to return against Nottingham Forest</a> this week.</p>
<p>But when Guardiola was asked post-match if Haaland had a chance to make Wednesday&#8217;s fixture, he could not offer such assurance:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t have an answer right now. He was not ready for today but we have four days before Nottingham Forest &#8211; and then in three days in the FA Cup in Newcastle at 8pm &#8211; thank you so much for that time to go better to Madrid with less recovery.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>The press conference ended with the City boss being questioned over the nature of the injury and whether it was a recurrence of a recent knee problem.</p>
<p>He confirmed it was not but declined to offer a further explanation.</p>
<p>Guardiola should face the media again on Tuesday before the deadline.</p>

<h2>Nico O&#8217;Reilly</h2>
<p>City&#8217;s problems worsened during the Leeds game when in-form O&#8217;Reilly was forced off in the second half.</p>
<p>According to the <a href="https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/breaking-man-city-injury-oreilly-33509423">Manchester Evening News</a>, he was seen to say &#8216;not good&#8217; to teammate <strong>Bernardo Silva</strong>.</p>
<p>Guardiola confirmed the defender &#8211; who has been playing in midfield recently &#8211; had sustained a knock to his ankle and could not play on.</p>
<p>There were no comments about his availability for midweek so again, Guardiola&#8217;s next press conference will be closely watched.</p>

<h2>Declan Rice</h2>
<p>Arsenal beat Chelsea in the last match of Gameweek 28 on Sunday evening &#8211; and there were more issues for FPL managers to address.</p>
<p>Mikel Arteta explained why Rice had to be taken off in the 76th minute after the victory:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Declan asked to be substituted, so we&#8217;re going to have to get checked and see if he&#8217;s available for Wednesday, unfortunately, and the rest are hopefully OK but we don&#8217;t know.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Arsenal are without a fixture in Blank Gameweek 31. They face Brighton (A) on Wednesday and then Everton (H) in Gameweek 30.</p>
<p>But with the FA Cup in between these two fixtures, Rice will have until Saturday, March 14 to recover if he is not fit for Gameweek 28.</p>

<h2>Harry Wilson</h2>
<p>Marco Silva confirmed Wilson twisted his ankle in Fulham&#8217;s 2-1 win over Spurs on Sunday:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;At half-time he gave us the feedback that we probably have to change. He kept going but it was very difficult for him in the last 20 minutes to support [the team].</p>
<p>&#8220;He twisted the ankle a bit. Let&#8217;s see how it&#8217;s going to be in the next few days.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Wilson had scored and assisted in the first half and lasted until the 72nd minute.</p>
<p>The Cottagers are home to West Ham on Wednesday &#8211; a game FPL managers would ideally like him to be fit for.</p>

<p>Andersen was a surprise absentee for the Spurs win.</p>
<p>The Fulham centre-back was missing due to illness, with no timeline for his return.</p>

<p>A back issue has kept the German out of Liverpool&#8217;s last two fixtures &#8211; and Arne Slot provided clarity at his Monday press conference:</p>
