<h2>Chris Tan's fixtures analysis: Gameweek 30</h2>
<p>Welcome back after the international break. This is the final stretch of the season, where doubles and blanks are all too real.</p>
<p>Last gameweek, we predicted Spurs would struggle following their European fixtures and highlighted how Bournemouth’s positional match-up favoured <strong>Yoane Wissa</strong>, exposing their set-piece weaknesses.</p>
<p>We also called that <strong>Alejandro Garnacho</strong> had a good positional match-up and <strong>Bruno Fernandes </strong>could do well, which turned out to be an understatement.</p>
<p>Now, with this possibly being your last gameweek before triggering the Wildcard, the question is: What can you do to go out with a bang?</p>

<h2><strong>FPL Gameweek 30: Reverse fixtures </strong></h2>
<p>The majority of these fixtures took place in Gameweek 15 and 19.</p>
<p><strong>Cole Palmer</strong> has trolled us for three weeks in a row now but he did have a lot of success against Spurs last time around.</p>
<p><strong>Jarrod Bowen</strong> and <strong>Bryan Mbeumo</strong> also had a good week last time around.</p>
<p><strong>Savinho</strong> hauled against Leicester but who will get the points this time?</p>

<h2><strong>FPL Gameweek 30: Clean sheet and goalscoring odds</strong></h2>
<p>I took an early look at the odds at the start of the international break, so they may have changed since.</p>
<p>Three teams are in with a strong chance of a clean sheet - Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Manchester City.</p>
<p>The projected goals look to be on the low side but I’d expect an uptick, especially against the promoted sides.</p>
<h2><strong>Team attacking stats - sorted by expected goals (xG)</strong></h2>
<p>Palace look to be the best attacking team in the league at the moment, with Brighton and Liverpool next before a big drop off to the rest.</p>

<h2><strong>Team defensive stats - sorted by expected goals conceded (xGC)</strong></h2>
<p>Southampton are the ultimate team to target, although any of the soon-to-be-relegated sides are fair game. All the teams from Leicester and above are allowing plenty of chances.</p>

<h2><strong>Individual player stats - sorted by expected points (xPts)</strong></h2>
<p>Is <strong>Ismaila Sarr</strong> the one to target from Palace or does <strong>Jean-Philippe Mateta </strong>offer more consistency?</p>
<p>On the subject of consistency, Salah is still high in the table although he’s massively outperforming and can’t get a penalty every week.</p>

<h2><strong>FPL Gameweek 30 fixtures analysed</strong></h2>
<h3>Arsenal v Fulham</h3>
<h4>Last match</h4>
<p>Both of these sides achieved what others have been struggling to do lately, which is keeping a clean sheet.</p>
<p>Neither created many chances though and both are much better defensively than from an attacking perspective.</p>
<h4>Head to head</h4>
<p>The reverse fixture ended 1-1 and both teams have scored in the last three matches. Fulham have never beaten Arsenal away.</p>
<h4>Additional factors to consider</h4>
<p>Arsenal’s attacking stats are poor and have been since <strong>Bukayo Saka’s</strong> injury.  They do tend to score more at home but I wouldn’t invest in their attack right now.</p>
<p>Where their attacking stats lack, Arsenal’s defensive stats are hugely impressive.</p>
<p>Fulham are a good team but their attack isn’t potent and Arsenal’s defence is elite. A low-scoring clean sheet therefore appears reasonable. The odds give Fulham more of a chance.</p>
<p>Fulham don’t have any obvious defensive weaknesses. They have only conceded two penalties this season and Arsenal have only won two.</p>

<h3>Wolves v West Ham</h3>
<h4>Last match</h4>
<p>Everton scored a last-minute equaliser to steal the points from West Ham.</p>
<p>There has been an improvement in the Hammers' performances recently, with Graham Potter gradually moulding his team.</p>
<p>Wolves scored two early goals against Southampton but were slightly fortunate to win the match. The three points and Ipswich’s loss means they’re not nine points clear of the relegation zone.</p>
<h4>Head to head</h4>
<p>West Ham won the reverse fixture 2-1 thanks to a goal from Bowen. They also won both matches last season.</p>
<h4>Additional factors to consider</h4>
<p>West Ham’s attacking stats are poor. They’ve only scored 15 away goals in 14 matches.</p>
<p>Wolves' xGC stats is relatively good too but their home xGC is worse than their away record.</p>
<p>Vitor Pereira'a side have no incentive to go for it here. A point would be a great result and the stats indicate West Ham could struggle to create many chances.</p>
<p>The odds suggest a 1-1 to narrow West Ham win could be on the cards.</p>
<p>Wolves are poor at defending set-pieces. They also allow a high volume of shots in the box and big chances.</p>
<p>Bowen is the main goal threat for West Ham and surprisingly good in the air for his size.</p>
<p>Wolves have conceded seven penalties this season, which is the joint most. West Ham have won three.</p>

<h3>Nottingham Forest v Manchester United</h3>
<h4>Last match</h4>
<p>Forest don’t typically score a lot of goals, which is a testament to how weak Ipswich are.</p>
<p>United are starting to click. It could be a false dawn and you can’t fully judge a team based on a performance against a promoted side but they do look better.</p>
<h4>Head to head</h4>
<p>Forest edged the reverse fixture 2-3. A repeat of this would make several managers happy as there were goals from <strong>Bruno Fernandes</strong>, <strong>Chris Wood</strong> and <strong>Nikola Milenkovic</strong>.</p>
<h4>Additional factors to consider</h4>
<p>Despite their result against Leicester, United’s xG is still poor. Forest’s aren’t much better and have scored way over expectation.</p>
<p>They tend to score more away where they can counter, as they prefer to play out of possession. United don’t score many goals away.</p>
<p>United give up a lot of chances and Forest are far from watertight, although their xGC is skewed by their recent fixture difficulty. Forest have only conceded 10 at home all season and for United, a respectable 15 away.</p>
<p>I think this will be a cagey match. Neither team are particularly good with the ball and a 1-1 seems reasonable and aligns with the odds.</p>
<p>United concede the most shots from their centre and left, which is where the main threats are from Forest. Forest are weakest on their right.</p>
<p><strong>Anthony Elanga</strong> will want to provide a reminder of what they let go and has the good positional match-up. <strong>Christian Eriksen</strong> played on the left against Leicester but it’s unclear if he will for this match.</p>
<p>United have conceded four penalties to Forest’s two this season. Both teams have won three.</p>
