Alexander Isak was triple captained by more than 400,000 FPL managers in Double Gameweek 32 &#8211; but the Newcastle forward has much to do in his second game to make the chip a success.

<h2>Slow start for Triple Captain Isak</h2>
Triple Captain or not, Isak was comfortably the most popular captaincy pick ahead of Double Gameweek 32, with his two fixtures giving him the edge over Mohamed Salah.
More than 85% of the top 250,000 gave the Swede the armband &#8211; but while he&#8217;s off the mark for attacking returns, owners will be hoping for more by the end of the gameweek.

Newcastle beat Manchester United 4-1, with Harvey Barnes scoring twice.
There was just a single assist for Isak, who set up Sandro Tonali in the 24th minute &#8211; the Magpies&#8217; first goal of the day.
He registered two shots on goal himself, with one big chance, ending on five FPL points.
Palace visit St James&#8217; Park on Wednesday in the final match of the gameweek.

Around 21% used their Triple Captain chip this week, with the vast majority on Isak.

<h2>Villa and Arsenal&#8217;s rotation ahead of Champions League</h2>
There was a smattering of Bench Boost chips used this weekend and the success of many will have come down to the performances &#8211; and team sheets &#8211; of Arsenal and Aston Villa.
These two sides are competing in the Champions League in midweek and there was heavy speculation over their expected lineups.
Villa made four changes from their defeat to Paris Saint Germain, with Ezri Konsa, Morgan Rogers and Marcus Rashford keeping their place.
Ian Maatsen, Tyrone Mings, Amadou Onana and Marco Asensio came in for Lucas Digne, Pau Torres, Boubacar Kamara and John McGinn.
There were 66th minute substitutions for Rashford and Jacob Ramsey, however the ever-reliable Rogers played 85 minutes.
Rogers picked up an assist, ending the 0-3 win with six points.

<h3>Arsenal changes</h3>
Mikel Arteta made six changes from the team who beat Real Madrid, with Bukayo Saka among those dropping to the bench for their 1-1 draw with Brentford.
Saka and Declan Rice were slight injury doubts ahead of the weekend but both got minutes, with the latter starting and playing 75. Saka came on in the 63rd minute.
William Saliba and Jakub Kiwior retained their places as the Gunners&#8217; centre-back pairing, with Arteta having limited options due to injury. Jurrien Timber, another injury concern, played 31 minutes.
Arsenal conceded the lowest expected goals (xGC) tally of the weekend (0.18) but Yoane Wissa bundled home to ruin many a Bench Boost, cancelling out Thomas Partey&#8217;s opening goal.

<h2>Emery reveals Villa&#8217;s penalty taker order</h2>
Asensio missed two penalties in Villa&#8217;s win over Southampton, helping Aaron Ramsdale to a 16 point haul.
The former Arsenal goalkeeper earned 10 points for his penalty stops, with a total of seven saves helping him to maximum bonus points.
Asensio&#8217;s misses came in the 69th and 94th minutes, both when Rashford was off the pitch.
But fortunately for fantasy managers, Emery gave a detailed insight into the penalty pecking order. He said post-match:

“I think it is normal that his challenge is to get the second one after the first one. It is clear which penalty shooter is first.
&#8220;We have our penalty shooter and the first one is Marcus Rashford. The second one is Asensio. Third ones are Tielemans, McGinn and Watkins.
“They are responsible when penalties are coming. We have to accept it and decide for the next match.”

Villa double in Gameweek 33 &#8211; and this nugget of information might convince some to go for Rashford.
