There have been some massive scores in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) this week with numerous popular picks &#8211; particularly for those on Free Hit &#8211; returning huge hauls.

<h2>FPL Gameweek 34: Liverpool attack underwhelms, Everton defence shines</h2>
Liverpool&#8217;s hopes of winning the league look bleak after defeat to rivals Everton on Wednesday left them three points behind Arsenal with four games to go.
And while that might not look like an impossible task, Manchester City are just a point behind the Reds with two games in hand.
It was a disappointing double gameweek for Liverpool&#8217;s fantasy assets, none more so than Mohamed Salah (£13.6m).
Captained by three quarters of the top 250,000 managers, the Egyptian managed just three points over two games.

Having played just 16 minutes against Fulham at the weekend, Salah was named in the starting 11 for the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.
But he could not convert any of his five shots on goal. He had two efforts on target, including a 95th minute volley that was scrambled away by Jordan Pickford (£4.7m).
Liverpool had 23 shots on goal against the Toffees, with only seven on target (2.08 xG). Luis Diaz (£7.8m) hit the post and Darwin Nunez (£7.8m) perhaps should have done better with another attempt.
Their failure to get on the scoresheet handed Everton their second clean sheet of Double Gameweek 34. Jarrod Branthwaite (£4.3m) owners also had a goal to celebrate after his shot trickled in and came away with 20 points.
Everton defenders might not be the priority for most FPL managers for the run-in, especially those on Wildcard looking to pack their team with double gameweek options.
But those on a Bench Boost in Gameweek 37 might consider an Everton defender regardless of the lack of double, given they play Sheffield United at home.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£5.8m) added the winner in the second-half, heading home a Dwight McNeil (£5.4m) corner.
The striker thought he won a penalty early in the first half when he was brought down by Alisson (£5.7m), however it was overturned by VAR for an offside in the buildup.
<h2>FPL Gameweek 34: White and Mateta&#8217;s monster hauls</h2>
Ben White (£6.0m) scored twice in Arsenal&#8217;s 5-0 win over Chelsea on Tuesday &#8211; and a second successive clean sheet for the Gunners rocketed White to the top of the FPL points standings for the week.
He was not the only Arsenal player to perform, with Martin Odegaard (£8.6m) ending the week on 20 points (one goal, two assists) and Kai Havertz (£7.4m) on 20 (two goals).

White&#8217;s 26 point record stood for just 24 hours though, when Jean-Philippe Mateta (£5.1m) scored his third and fourth goals of Gameweek 34 to help Crystal Palace defeat Newcastle 2-0.
Like Arsenal, Palace&#8217;s attacking players really rewarded their owners, with Eberechi Eze (£6.1m) and Michael Olise (£5.6m) each contributing a goal and an assist.

Mateta&#8217;s score was one of the biggest single-gameweek returns in FPL history &#8211; and those who had both him and White were likely looking at significant green arrows.
The best score in FPL so far this week was 216 points. American <a href="https://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1218534/history">Erik Dinsmore</a>, ranked 16k, triple captained Mateta for 87 points. He didn&#8217;t have White &#8211; but he leaped up more than 350,000 places.

<h2>FPL Gameweek 34: Neto benched, Wilson returns</h2>
Bournemouth kept a clean sheet against Wolves in a game which saw Rayan Ait-Nouri (£4.8m) return to the latter&#8217;s starting 11.
Antoine Semenyo (£4.5m), also back as a starter following injury, scored the only goal of the game.
Milos Kerkez (£4.4m) started both games in this double but saw red in the 79th minute for a foul on Matt Doherty (£4.3m), all but ending his season as a result of a three-match ban.
The Cherries&#8217; clean sheet was welcome news for those who held on to Illia Zabarnyi (£4.5m) but agonising for Neto (£4.7m) owners, as Andoni Iraola benched him for Mark Travers (£4.0m).
Speaking after the game, manager Andoni Iraola praised Travers for his performance and training and said he &#8216;wanted to see him in an away game with the pressure&#8217;. He added:
<blockquote>“I don&#8217;t know what I&#8217;m going to do in the weekend. I don&#8217;t know, I have to think. I have to see how they train.
&#8220;I think we have to see what we need against Brighton because Brighton is always special, the way they play.&#8221;</blockquote>
Elsewhere, fantasy fans should note that Callum Wilson (£7.8m) was given 25 minutes off the bench for Newcastle after his long-term injury.
Wilson came on for Jacob Murphy (£4.8m), meaning Alexander Isak (£8.1m) could complete 90 minutes.
Isak has been a popular pick in recent gameweeks and his ownership will rise further as Wildcards are activated ahead of Gameweek 35.
But the return of Wilson could eventually eat into Isak&#8217;s minutes &#8211; something for buyers to at least keep in mind.

<h2>FPL Gameweek 34: Fernandes nailed in Gameweek 35 Wildcard teams?</h2>
Manchester United beat bottom side Sheffield United 4-2 on Wednesday, a game which saw them twice fall behind.
The performance would not have inspired confidence in wildcarders considering United defenders, with an Andre Onana (£4.7m) error gifting the Blades their opener.
But there was promise from them in attack. Harry Maguire (£4.2m) headed home an Alejandro Garnacho (£5.0m) cross and was fouled for a penalty that was scored by Bruno Fernandes (£8.3m).

Diogo Dalot (£5.2m) owners were unfortunate, as the Portuguese full-back had scored just as the referee blew his whistle for the penalty. He also saw a shot saved inside the first minute.
Fernandes added a long-range second goal and assisted Rasmus Hojlund (£7.0m) for United&#8217;s fourth and his excellent form will have captured the attention of those on Wildcard.
Garnacho meanwhile failed to capitalise on two big chances but did play 90 minutes after his early substitution in Gameweek 33.
