<h2>Double Gameweek 34 Review &#8211; FPL Strategy</h2>
<p>With one game left to play this gameweek (Man United vs Chelsea is Thursday night) we&#8217;re on 50 points with two to play. A small red arrow from 21k to 23k so far, but hopefully the Chelsea boys turn the arrow green.</p>
<p>Whilst there was a blank in the first game for <strong>Mason Mount (£7.7m), Marcos Alonso (£5.6m) </strong>got us a 10-pointer after he assisted the goal and got two bonus points! We&#8217;re also getting three points off of the bench due to a couple of no shows.</p>

<p>As we can see, it&#8217;s Norwich that have conceded the most FPL points to opposition Goalkeepers so far.</p>
<p>Brighton, Wolves, Watford, and Burnley make up the remaining teams in green.</p>
<p>When we look at FPL Points scored by goalkeepers, Liverpool are top, with Wolves, Man City, Arsenal and Spurs making up the top five.</p>
<p>Could <strong>Emi Martinez (£5.5m) </strong>be worth the extra cash in the last four weeks of the season, given their back to back Double Gameweeks and good fixtures coming up?</p>

<p>Chelsea are still top of the table for FPL Points scored by defenders, with Liverpool only 19 points behind them now in second. Chelsea do play again Thursday, so a clean sheet would increase the gap again.</p>
<p>Man City, Spurs and Wolves make up the top five defences scoring the most FPL points.</p>
<p>Norwich have conceded the most FPL Points to opposition Defenders, and Leeds, Everton, Burnley and Watford make up the remaining green teams. Wolves defenders are both scoring and conceding lots of FPL Points.</p>
<p>Whilst Arsenal have gone off the boil in recent weeks, they do have a decent end to the season in terms of <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">their fixtures</a>. Something to maybe bear in mind for those of us with their defensive assets.</p>

<h3>Midfielders</h3>

<p>The Midfielder table shows Liverpool are well out on top in this position. Man City are in second, with West Ham, Man United and Chelsea making up the top five.</p>
<p>Leeds have conceded the most FPL points to opposition Midfield units so far.</p>
<p>Norwich, Brentford, Watford and Brighton make up the five teams conceding the most points.</p>
<p>As mentioned above, Aston Villa play Norwich this week and then have two Double Gameweeks, followed by Man City away. Those of us without a <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-free-hit-chip-in-fpl-and-how-can-we-use-it/">Free Hit chip</a> will likely target players here, but will want an exit strategy for 38, or suitable bench cover. Perhaps rolling a transfer in 37 gives managers that extra manoeuvrability for 38?</p>

<h3>Forwards</h3>

<p>Watford, Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Norwich and Southampton make up the top five teams for Forwards with the most FPL points so far.</p>
<p>A lot of these teams play two up top each week, which can sway the numbers to a certain extent. Given the fixtures, budget strikers from Crystal Palace, Brentford and Leicester (if you can stomach the rotation) could be interesting plays.</p>
<p><strong>Harry Kane (£12.5m) </strong>is ticking over as he should given his price tag.</p>
<p>Given that there are no other real standout options, should we finally bring him in, or is Son enough? I think at this stage of the season, we will focus our own transfers elsewhere.</p>
<p>Newcastle, Everton, Norwich, Southampton and Watford are the teams conceding the most FPL points to opposition Forwards.</p>

<h2>Home and Away Data &#8211; Points Per Game Basis</h2>

<p>The teams performing worst at home according to FPL Points Conceded per game are Watford, Norwich, Burnley, Leeds and Brighton.</p>
<p>Away from home, Norwich, Leeds, Everton, Brentford and Burnley are performing poorly. Note that Burnley, Leeds and Norwich are giving up plenty of points, regardless of whether they&#8217;re home or away.</p>
<p>The teams performing well at home according to FPL Points Scored, in respect of Points Per Game, are Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Spurs.</p>
<p>Liverpool and Man City are absolutely dominating in their home fixtures, averaging over 60 FPL Points Scored per game, with Liverpool closer to 70 PPG.</p>
<p>The teams performing well away from home according to total FPL Points Scored per game are Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Man City and Wolves.</p>

<h2>FPL Gameweek 35 Team</h2>
<p>So after that deep dive into the data, here is the current lineup for Gameweek 35:</p>

<p>All eyes will be on if Bukayo Saka is declared for this week. If he is, I think I will leave the team as it is. We will likely need the bench anyway, with Leicester&#8217;s main focus being their Europa Conference League tie with Roma.</p>

<h2>Transfers &#8211; FPL Gameweek 35 Strategy</h2>
<p>The plan is to Free Hit in Double Gameweek 37, so we will roll this week ahead of Double Gameweek 36. If Saka is injured, we may dive into the market and see what we can do. With £2.1m in the bank we have plenty of options!</p>

<h2>Captaincy &#8211; FPL Gameweek 35 Strategy</h2>
<p>Subject to Champions League, I&#8217;m leaning on captaining <strong>Mohamed Salah (£13.3m) </strong>away to Newcastle, primarily because Liverpool are scoring plenty of goals and desperate to keep up with Man City.</p>
