<h2>FPL Double Gameweek 37 (Free Hit) Review</h2>
<p>Well, that's another season nearly in the can. And, its probably been the most gruelling season in the 13 years I've been playing FPL. It seemed we had either double or blank gameweeks almost every week due to the Covid postponements in the earlier part of the seasons, and the need to catch up from them in the latter parts.</p>
<p>It also felt like I didn't often get the rub of the green on things like how the fixture rearrangements ended up falling - I'm certain I would have finished much higher had I Wildcarded earlier but this wasn't to be known at the time the decisions were made.</p>
<p>It was also a season where the variance between the 'right' and 'wrong' decision (in hindsight) was often brutal. I think most of us will be glad of a break and then a more normal season next time round.</p>
<p>This week, like many, I finally got to play my second Free Hit Chip. It was a pretty solid result, but again, one player that I didn't have but was certainly in some of my prior drafts, prevented it being an even better one. That player was <strong>James Maddison (£6.9m), </strong>who got a massive 25 points across the two games.</p>
<p>Still, at least I got my captain right this week after four captain blanks before that, with <strong>Richarlison (£7.6m)</strong> doing the business for me. Overall, I got 89 points which pushed me up from 32k to <strong>24k overall rank, </strong>not a bad position but it feels a bit 'no man's land' going into the final week.</p>

<p>There's no need for the Ticker this week as there's just one last set of fixtures to navigate. No doubles or blanks just an old fashioned set of ten fixtures, and all played at the same time!</p>

<p>Here is my current line-up this week before any transfers:</p>

<p>It's always a bit of a shock to the system when your Free Hit team reverts to the previous team - you almost forget what your team looks like, or maybe that's just me!</p>
<p>Anyway, not too bad overall I think, the main issues being the doubt around the Liverpool players' minutes ahead of their Champions League final. <strong>Rúben Dias' (£6.2m)</strong> injury weakening my squad at a time when rotation is likely isn't ideal. Also, having only the 'Tesco Value' Spurs cover in <strong>Dejan Kulusevski (£6.3m)</strong> as they travel to relegated Norwich City could be improved.</p>
