<h2>FPL Gameweek 6: Teams and fixtures to target</h2>

<h3>⚽ Target for goals: Manchester City, Spurs, Chelsea</h3>

<li><strong>Manchester City</strong>: 2.88</li>
<li><strong>Spurs</strong>: 2.12</li>
<li><strong>Chelsea</strong>: 1.97</li>
<li><strong>Liverpool/Manchester United</strong>: 1.83</li>
</ul>
<p>These are the three fixtures that offer the most potential for goals and you can see why everybody is trying to bring in City players, although Burnley can be quite resolute.</p>
<p>Spurs haven’t fully clicked yet from an attacking perspective but Wolves are currently a team to target.</p>
<p>Brighton are a decent side, however they rarely seem to keep clean sheets and Chelsea will fancy their chances, while some of the former Brighton players may want to send a message.</p>
<p>Liverpool don’t quite make the top three and Crystal Palace are exceptional at blocking teams. This Liverpool side are irresistible though and always seem to find a way.</p>

<h3>💪 Clean sheets: Manchester City, Spurs and Nottingham Forest</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Manchester Cit</strong>y: 48%</li>
<li><strong>Spurs</strong>: 40%</li>
<li><strong>Everton</strong>: 37%</li>
<li><strong>Nottingham Forest</strong>: 35%</li>
</ul>
<p>Although Burnley can defend well, they offer little to no attacking threat and this should be a banker of a clean sheet for City.</p>
<p>Wolves don’t carry much threat either and although the Spurs attack hasn’t fully clicked, their defence is exceptional.</p>
<p>Everton have crept into the top three, which pains me as a non-<strong>James Tarkowski </strong>owner, given he could easily pick up a clean sheet, defensive contribution points and bonus here.</p>

<h2>FPL Gameweek 6: Players to target</h2>
<h3>Hub AI player points projections</h3>
<p>Here's my top five players to target with their opponents' weaknesses in mind:</p>
<h3>🥇 Erling Haaland (v Burnley)</h3>
<p><strong>Target: Big chances </strong></p>
<p>City have the second best expected goals (xG) in the league and have scored nine goals in line with the data, which indicates it’s sustainable. They’ve also generated the most big chances in the league.</p>
<p>Burnley have conceded the fourth most big chances in the league. It’s no surprise they have the highest expected goals conceded (xGC) and have let in eight goals in four games.</p>
<p>The Clarets have conceded the second most shots from their centre and the most shots from their left. All the above is good news for Haaland - he’s registered the most big chances in the league by far.</p>
<p>In addition, they’re third worst for headed attempts conceded, which is another area where Haaland threatens.</p>
<p>Haaland’s never blanked when he’s started against Burnley. He scored a hat-trick against them in the FA Cup quarter-final and braced away the last time they were in the league.</p>
<p>There’s a reason many will give him the <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/is-it-worth-triple-captaining-haaland-fpl-gameweek-6">Triple Captain chip</a> this weekend.</p>

<h3>🥈 James Tarkowski (v West Ham)</h3>
<p><strong>Target: Set-piece weakness</strong></p>
<p>Everton aren’t prolific by any means but they’ve scored six against an xG of 6.91, which is the seventh best in the league.</p>
<p>They feature here because West Ham are clearly a team to target at the moment from many avenues.</p>
<p>The Hammers have conceded the most headed attempts in the league and the most big chances. They’ve also conceded the most goals (13), albeit they’ve been a little unlucky given their xGC of 7.7.</p>
<p>In addition, West Ham’s attacking stats are relatively poor. Their system leaves them an attacker short and they struggle to create chances.</p>
<p>As mentioned above, the main weaknesses for West Ham are their inability to defend set-pieces and although <strong>Michael Keane</strong> seems to be more of an aerial threat than Tarkowski at the moment, it’s the sheer number of routes to points that makes Tarkowski such a good pick this week.</p>
<p>Everton have a 38% chance of a clean sheet, Tarkowski has managed defensive contributions every single week and he’s a threat in the air.</p>
