<p>Here, we start with the goalkeepers and a difficult decision between the £5.6m premium pick and others around the £4.5m price point.</p>

<h2>FPL Gameweek 6 Wildcard: The case for Raya</h2>
<p>Raya is the most expensive goalkeeper in the game but he is the cheapest of the secure starters in the Arsenal defence.</p>
<p>The former Brentford man rose in price on Sunday and is now in more than 31% of teams.</p>
<p>His ownership is likely to increase further as the deadline approaches, with the Gunners' fixtures turning for the better from Gameweek 6.</p>
<p>Raya is the highest-scoring goalkeeper so far, with 33 points coming via three clean sheets and six bonus points.</p>
<p>Arsenal's backline is seen as the best in the league, having kept the most clean sheets last season (18) and ranking first for key defensive statistics.</p>

<p>This has not been the case this season, with the Gunners ranking 10th for expected goals conceded (xGC).</p>
<p>But there are reasons for this difference in performance.</p>
<p>Mikel Arteta's side have suffered red cards in two games, playing with 10 men against Brighton and Manchester City for a combined 86 minutes.</p>
<p>This has contributed to them facing the second most shots (90), with most of City's 33 attempts at the weekend coming after the dismissal of <strong>Leandro Trossard</strong>.</p>
<p>Raya has been kept busy, making 23 saves (third), which has helped him pick up bonus points.</p>
<p>An improvement in Arsenal's underlying data would form part of the case against him, as we'll explore more below.</p>
<p>But ultimately, those picking Raya can expect a steady stream of points, with clean sheets more reliable than the cheaper alternatives.</p>
<p>That, combined with favourable fixtures and high confidence after a series of superb saves, makes the Spaniard a solid set-and-forget option in goal.</p>

<h2>The case against Raya</h2>
<p>Raya's early season numbers might be an anomaly based on the longer-term data.</p>
<p>He has already made half the number of saves he did compared to the whole of last season - and matched his bonus total.</p>
<p>Should the shots faced decrease, Raya's bonus and save points will reduce. He ranked outside the top 20 for saves last season.</p>
<p>This will make him more reliant on clean sheets - and six-point scores, rather than hauls of nine or 10, will be more common.</p>
<p>While this does not make him a bad pick - with the second highest score among goalkeepers last season - it's important to consider that results might differ over a longer period.</p>
<p>Choosing a cheaper goalkeeper with reasonable clean sheet potential and a good volume of saves - like the top-scoring <strong>Jordan Pickford </strong>last season - could prove a better use of funds.</p>
<p>The other concern with Raya is his fitness. He was <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-gameweek-6-early-injury-news">spotted with a bandage on his leg</a> after the City game, so is one to monitor ahead of deadline.</p>
