<h3><strong>The Top </strong></h3>
<p>Just when I had written off <strong>Manchester City</strong>, they beat my favourites for the league (<strong>Chelsea</strong>) away from home with an absolute dominant display and limited them to <strong>zero shots on target</strong>.</p>
<p>Chelsea struggled to break the press from City’s energetic front five and were lucky they only lost by one. Similar to last season, City’s defence looks impenetrable and it would be sensible to invest in it.</p>
<p><strong>Manchester United</strong> dropped points, and I was shocked when I saw who stepped up for the penalty. That’s three losses in their last four games, which is unacceptable really. <strong>Liverpool</strong> were held to a draw, but they demonstrated how potent their attack is. <strong>Brighton, Everton and West Ham</strong> are still in the mix too.</p>

<h3><strong>The Premiums </strong></h3>
<p><strong>Mohamed Salah (£12.6m)</strong> is just so reliable this season and was a goal-line clearance away from another haul. <strong>Cristiano</strong> <strong>Ronaldo (£12.7m)</strong> blanked for the first time, but the margins were so fine. If he had taken the penalty (and scored) like everybody expected, then that would have been a nine point return with max bonus.</p>
<p>City kept <strong>Romelu Lukaku (£11.7m)</strong> at bay, but the next few weeks are time for the flat-track bully to shine. <strong>Jamie</strong> <strong>Vardy (£10.4m)</strong> has barely been mentioned this season, but <strong>Michail</strong> <strong>Antonio (£7.9m)</strong> is the only forward with more points than him.</p>

<h3><strong>Who to target </strong></h3>
<p>For now, it’s clearly beneficial to target <strong>Norwich</strong>, particularly with any right-sided players (although admittedly <strong>Andros</strong> <strong>Townsend (£5.4m) </strong>scored from a penalty. <strong>Leeds</strong> always look like conceding and I have no idea what has happened to <strong>Spurs</strong>, but I can’t see Nuno lasting long at this rate.</p>

<h2 style="text-align: left;">Captaincy: how Have we Done to Date?</h2>

<p>Someone commented that the price prediction metric changed, which would have given Salah one less point and would have pushed him above Ronaldo in the metric. I don’t regret the choice though: if he’d have taken the penalty I think he’d have scored, although fair play to <strong>Emiliano</strong> <strong>Martinez (£5.5m)</strong> for those antics. What I do regret is not backing myself and going for <strong>Michail</strong> <strong>Antonio (£7.9m)</strong>. Maybe this week…</p>

<p>The <strong>budget midfielders</strong> killed it this week. If anyone is tempted to go triple premium (threemium) then this appears to be the time.</p>

<p>Apologies, I know some of you missed this last week but there’s no overview again this week, as <strong>Ronaldo (£12.7m)</strong> and <strong>Lukaku (£11.7m)</strong> haven’t played against their opposition for years.</p>
<p>Liverpool face Manchester City and <strong>Antonio (£7.9m) </strong>hasn’t played against <strong>Brentford</strong> before. <strong>Vardy (£10.4m)</strong> has started 11 games against <strong>Crystal Palace</strong> and scored five times with one assist, however he blanked last season and this Crystal Palace side are completely different this season.</p>
<p><strong>Raul Jimenez (£7.5m)</strong> finally broke his duck at the weekend, but he’s only managed <strong>one goal in four starts against Newcastl</strong>e previously.</p>
