<h2><strong>FPL Gameweek 7 Recap</strong></h2>
<p>It feels like forever since the last Gameweek:</p>

<h3><strong>The Top </strong></h3>
<p>The big four have established their places at the top of the league and only <strong>Manchester United</strong> look vulnerable. I expect the rest to remain there for the rest of the season.</p>
<p><strong>Chelsea</strong> dominated a good Southampton team, but <strong>Lukaku (£11.7m)</strong> owners were left devastated, as he missed an absolute sitter.</p>
<p><strong>Manchester</strong> <strong>City</strong> and <strong>Liverpool</strong> participated in a highly entertaining clash.</p>
<p>Local rivals <strong>Manchester United</strong> were slightly fortunate to come away with a point against <strong>Everton</strong>. <strong>Ole Gunnar Solskjær</strong> played with fire by benching <strong>Cristiano</strong> <strong>Ronaldo (£12.7m)</strong>.</p>

<h3><strong>The Premiums </strong></h3>
<p>Scrap the new boys, it’s all about the tried and tested.</p>
<p><strong>Mohammed</strong> <strong>Salah (£12.7m)</strong> scored an absolute wonder goal and assisted the first. This was against the best defence in the league. He’s simply on another level this season.</p>
<p>The ever-reliable <strong>Jamie</strong> <strong>Vardy (£10.4m)</strong> just keeps on scoring. He is only one point behind must-have <strong>Michail Antonio (£8.0m) </strong>in the striker charts.</p>

<h3><strong>Who to Target </strong></h3>
<p><strong>Norwich</strong> finally kept a clean sheet (CS), but there wasn’t enough there to indicate a massive improvement. I’d still be relentlessly targeting them.</p>
<p><strong>Newcastle</strong> are the other team that always look like conceding.</p>

<p>What a terrible week all round! Only <strong>Salah (£12.7m)</strong> appears to be reliable at the moment and given his fixture this week, his effective ownership (EO) will be huge.</p>

<p>There’s always one defender that smashes it each week. The difficult part is to identify them.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, midfielders still have the edge over the forwards due to the additional goal and CS point.</p>

<p><strong>Phil Foden (£7.9m) </strong>has returned in his last two games against <strong>Burnley</strong> (both were at home). He scored a brace when he started on the left wing, which is where he featured in City's last game.</p>
<p><strong>Salah (£12.7m) </strong>has absolutely destroyed <strong>Watford</strong> in the past. However, that was a different team and they’ve gone through about five managers since then.</p>
<p>What is interesting though is that <strong>six goals</strong> and <strong>one</strong> <strong>assist</strong> were scored at Anfield, which suggests he might not be as potent away from home (but who would bet against him on this form).</p>
<p><strong>Heung-Min Son (£10.1m) </strong>has only blanked in one game that he started against <strong>Newcastle</strong>.</p>
<p>All but one of <strong>Harry</strong> <strong>Kane’s (£12.1m) </strong>goals against Newcastle have been scored at their ground.</p>
<p><strong>Kevin De Bruyne (£11.9m) </strong>picked up two assists against Burnley at home last season, but has never scored against them.</p>
<p><strong>Joao Cancelo (£6.2m) </strong>hasn’t picked up much against Burnley in the past, but both games ended with a clean sheet (CS).</p>
