<h2><strong>FPL Gameweek 8 Recap</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>The Top </strong></h3>
<p>The top three all won, as they extend their lead over the chasing pack. Chelsea won by the skin of their teeth, thanks to some goalkeeper heroics. Liverpool and Manchester City look like the form teams at the moment. Brighton hit the top four despite a goalless draw against Norwich and are level on points with Spurs (which is ironic given that the fans have been calling for Nuno’s head). Manchester United are going through a torrid run and their fixtures won’t make it easy to get back on track.</p>

<h3><strong>The Premiums </strong></h3>
<p><strong>Salah (£12.8m)</strong> is just a different level this season. He’s always been a goal scorer, but his assist for <strong>Mane (£11.9m)</strong> showed a new string to his bow and he scored another wonder goal. The ever-reliable <strong>Vardy (£10.6m)</strong> just keeps on scoring and is now the forward with the highest points total. Both <strong>Son (£10.1m)</strong> and <strong>Kane (£12.1m) </strong>are also starting to attract attention, as interest cools on the two new boys.</p>

<h3><strong>Who to Target </strong></h3>
<p>Norwich finally kept their second clean sheet (CS) in a row, as they appear to be easing out of their leaky period. Newcastle still keep conceding and it might take Ranieri a while to shake things up at Watford.</p>

<p>City demonstrated exactly what I was worried about, you just never know which player is going to haul. For Liverpool, you just know that <strong>Salah (£12.8m)</strong> is going to be involved. He’s making a strong argument to be perma-captained and this week will provide an interesting overview of whether that’s the way the majority decide to go.</p>

<p>No table this week, as we don’t have any recent history for Chelea players against Norwich. <strong>For anyone unsure on Lukaku (£11.7m) -</strong> <strong>Kane (£12.1m)</strong> has some record against West Ham with 11 goals (only 3 were scored away though) and 2 assists in 12 starts (108%). <strong>Son (£10.1m) </strong>has 3 goals and 5 assists (only 1 goal and assist away) in 8 starts (100%) against them. <strong>Salah (£12.8m) </strong>has 2 goals in 7 against Manchester United, it took him a while to score against them but he’s returned in 2 of the last 3 games including away last season.</p>
