<h2><strong>Mohamed Salah (£12.8m)</strong></h2>
<p>Let's start with the big fish.</p>
<p>Despite being one of the most prolific assets in the game, Salah is nowhere near my Wildcard squad.</p>
<p>Why? This is a season where it's imperative to own the right premiums at the right time.</p>
<p>With <strong>Bukayo Saka (£10.0m)</strong> having Leicester and Southampton next and <strong>Erling Haaland (£15.3m)</strong> having Fulham and Southampton in the coming gameweeks, all being home fixtures, there is simply no room for Salah.</p>
<p>I can't see myself captaining Salah in any of the coming weeks, so it's difficult to justify paying £12.8m at a time when funds can be spent more efficiently across the rest of the squad.</p>
