            <p>With seven gameweeks of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season gone, who have been the best and worst teams so far?</p>
<p>It's still early days, so the sample size remains small, however we have four more gameweeks of data compared to our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-tips-the-best-and-worst-teams-according-to-the-stats">first review</a> in early September.</p>

<h2>Attacking threat: Spurs lead the way for xG</h2>
<p>It's been a promising start to the season for Spurs in an attacking sense.</p>
<p>Only Manchester City have had more shots and attempts on target than Ange Postecoglou's men.</p>
<p>The North London club lead for shots in the box - and the quality of their attacks have seen them top the table for expected goals (xG).</p>
<p>Their xG of 15.53 is ahead of Arsenal (14.08) and early season leaders Liverpool (14.07) and is similar to their actual performance of 14 goals.</p>

<p>Arsenal, Chelsea and City have scored more, although Spurs are only three goals behind top-ranked City, who have over-performed their 13.83 xG to a larger extent.</p>
<p>Spurs' goal involvement has been spread around their squad so far, with <strong>Brennan Johnson </strong>top scorer with three.</p>
<p>His individual xG is just behind <strong>Dominic Solanke</strong>, who has two goals from 3.42 xG.</p>
<p>Solanke is the one getting the most big chances (eight), three ahead of Johnson. This is despite playing fewer minutes than his fellow attackers.</p>
<p>No player has a better big chances per appearance record than the former Bournemouth man (1.6).</p>
<p><strong>James Maddison </strong>ranks fifth in the league for expected goal involvements (xGI). He has two goals to his name but has shone on the creative side, with the most assists (three) and best expected assists (xA) tally among his teammates (2.8).</p>
<p>Spurs have the fourth easiest fixtures from an attack perspective over the next six gameweeks, according to our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixture ticker</a>. They could therefore keep their xG top spot for a while longer.</p>
