<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Arsenal head into Gameweek 7 of the 2025-26 Premier League with one of the best fixtures of the week.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Gunners are at home to West Ham United, who will still be getting to grips with new manager Nuno Espirito Santo’s tactics. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is probably the most intriguing dilemma among Arsenal players. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bukayo Saka has recently returned from injury, but blanked in his first start back against Newcastle United. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Across his past two games &#8211; including a cameo against Manchester City &#8211; Saka has taken three shots and hit the target once. That works out to 2.35 shots per 90 minutes, and 0.78 efforts on target.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Those shots have returned 0.1 Expected Goals per 90, and his 1.57 chances created brought only 0.07 xA per 90.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But Saka does love to play West Ham. In his past five league games against the Hammers, Saka has averaged 0.88 goals per 90 and 0.44 assists. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In terms of totals, that’s four goals and two assists. Saka also averaged 5.47 shots with 1.97 on target per 90, registering 1.09 xG per 90 in those games.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The English has created 3.28 chances per 90 across those five fixtures, with 0.45 xA per 90. That’s enough to persuade us to jump on the bandwagon and bring Saka back into the fold.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">David Raya is the second most-owned player in FPL, selected by 26% of teams. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Arsenal have actually conceded in three of their past four league games, including each of the past two. In FPL terms, Raya has recorded 12 points from that four-game run &#8211; b</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">ut that shouldn’t dissuade you.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Two of Arsenal’s three league clean sheets this season have come at the Emirates, and the only home game in which they conceded was against Manchester City.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> West Ham also are frequent shooters. The Hammers have averaged 4.33 shots on target per game in the league this season &#8211; only four teams fare better. But that has only brought an average of one goal per game.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The difference of 3.33 here shows that Raya could be in for save points, on top of a potential clean sheet.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Leandro Trossard has found himself getting some game time recently. The Belgian has started on the left wing for Arsenal, and that may continue against West Ham if Mikel Arteta sticks with a 4-2-3-1, playing Eberechi Eze through the middle.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Trossard only has one attacking return this season which came as a sub, and he&#8217;s yet to deliver in any of his starts.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The key stat for Trossard howeever is the difference between his xG and his post-shot xG, and what it means about his finishing. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Belgian has averaged 0.14 xG per 90 across his past two league starts, which jumps to 0.21 post-shot xG per 90. So Trossard has been improving his chances of scoring through his shot placement. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Trossard has also averaged only 0.09 xA per 90 across his past two matches, so the chances of attacking returns look far from guaranteed.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This one seems obvious, but you might still need persuading for the price.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Gabriel is the fourth most-owned defender in FPL, sitting in just over a quarter of all teams. But that also means he’s not in three quarters of all teams.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Like Raya, Gabriel is a good pick for the clean sheets, with the substantial bonus of him being a threat from set-pieces.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On top of that, Gabriel has the defensive contributions working in his favour. The Brazilian recorded an incredible 19 of them in Arsenal’s win over Newcastle, while also hitting double figures against Nottingham Forest. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Overall, Gabriel has averaged 9 defensive contributions per 90 in the Premier League this season &#8211; so there’s every chance the extra points will be claimed once again this weekend.</span></p>
