Heading into Gameweek 17, Premier League sides have now released players to compete at the Africa Cup of Nations, meaning plenty of FPL managers will be looking to make changes to their teams.
Liverpool are one team worth considering with your transfers in, with Mohamed Salah now departed for AFCON, Cody Gakpo currently out through injury and Arne Slot making much-needed changes to his system as they look to emerge from a particularly rough patch of form.
With their next three fixtures including a struggling Tottenham and back-to-back home games against Wolves and Leeds, Liverpool could be a great place to shop over the coming weeks if they can turn their form around.

Virgil van Dijk has played all 16 Premier League games so far this season, picking up 62 FPL points, at an average of 3.9 points per game.
The Liverpool captain has kept five clean sheets, while also picking up extra points for defensive contributions in nine of his 16 games.
The Dutchman is completing the most clearances per 90 for Liverpool with 8.56, which is an excellent foundation for defensive contribution points.
He also boasts an impressive average of 5.25 aerial duels won per 90, nearly 1.5 more than second-placed Ibrahima Konate who is averaging 3.7.
Liverpool have improved in the set-piece department in recent weeks too, which has seen Van Dijk’s goal threat increased as he looks to use his aerial prowess to full effect in the opposition box.

Hugo Ekitike is the Liverpool summer signing who has settled best, scoring seven league goals and providing one assist in his 15 appearances.
The 23-year-old has scored 68 FPL points, making him the second-highest point scorer for the Reds behind the consistent Ryan Gravenberch, with 4.5 points per game.
The Frenchman is averaging 3.1 shots per 90, more than any other Liverpool player this season so far this season, and with an accuracy of 30% from those shots he’s managed to score at a rate of 0.72 goals per 90.
Ekitike has also generated 4.24 xG in total in the league this season &#8211; only Mohamed Salah has managed more within this Liverpool side.
With Slot showing willingness to play Ekitike and Isak together, the French forward is looking like a good pick to profit from the leaky Tottenham and Wolves backlines in the coming weeks.

Wirtz hasn&#8217;t quite settled as quickly as Ekitike, joining Liverpool this summer for a fee of around £116m &#8211; which was briefly a British record before Isak joined later in the window.
The 22-year-old German has made 15 appearances in the Premier League since arriving, but is yet to score a goal and has provided just one assist. 
Despite Wirtz&#8217; struggles for goals and assists, his underlying metrics aren&#8217;t bad, still creating 2.24 chances per 90 &#8211; only Salah is managing more with 2.51. 
The ex-Bayer Leverkusen man has scored 37 FPL points, averaging 2.5 points per game, although he did manage defensive contribution points in Gameweek 16.
With Slot’s new system giving Wirtz more of a free role to drift between the lines, in closer proximity to the strikers, the German could begin to come into his own over the festive period ahead of some favourable fixtures for the Reds.
