Newcastle United are one of the form teams in the Premier League right now, and keen-eyed FPL managers will have noticed they’ve got a good run coming up.
Newcastle have won their past five games in the league, while all of their next four games have a Fixture Difficulty Rating of three or under. 
Wolves (H), Bournemouth (H), Southampton (A) and Fulham (H) all await the Magpies.

The man of the moment, only two players are selected by more FPL managers right now than Alexander Isak.
He’s also the second-most in-form player in FPL, with a Form rating of 10.0.
The Swedish striker has been phenomenal since the start of December, boasting attacking returns in each of his past seven games.
During that run, Isak has scored nine goals and provided two assists. He’s scoring no matter the opposition, whether they’re top of the table or fighting relegation. 
He’s also scored more goals than any other Premier League player over that period, and sits second for Expected Goals. 
All of that is without taking a penalty – leading the league in non-penalty xGOT (expected goals on target) of 7.27 since the start of December.
Isak did pick up a minor knock in the past game which is worth keeping an eye on, but it&#8217;s hard to look past the Newcastle striker whose scoring run looks set to continue.
Sign, sign, sign.

Lewis Hall is another popular Magpies asset, and he has the highest Form among defenders right now (8.4)
 In Hall’s past five games, the Englishman has two double-digit hauls, with three assists in that spell too.
 He has also recorded an impressive four clean sheets in his past five games. 
There’s a question of whether it’s a purple patch or a sustainable upturn in form, however. Before his five-game scoring streak, Hall failed to record a return in five straight matches. 
In fact, he only managed returns in four of his first 15 games. Overall, Hall has averaged 1.53 chances created per 90 minutes in the Premier League this season.
Given his low price, it’s worth a risk to sign.

Anthony Gordon has attacking returns in each of his past five Premier League games. The English winger has scored in two games and assisted in three. That’s on top of getting clean sheet points in four of those five matches.
 Looking at averages, Gordon has scored 0.51 goals and provided 0.51 assists per 90 since the start of December in the Premier League. He’s been shooting frequently, averaging 3.57 shots per 90 with 1.36 shots on target.
Gordon’s also flexing his creative muscles. Since the start of December, Gordon has created 3.06 chances per 90, the fourth-most in the Premier League during that run. He has 0.28 xA per 90, so he’s creating plenty for his teammates.
Gordon played against Arsenal in midweek despite sporting a facial injury picked up against Tottenham, allaying any fears on that front. He’s in good form, so it makes sense to sign.

The second Newcastle defender on the list, Dan Burn has played 1,710 of the 1,800 available minutes for Newcastle this season. The only minutes he missed came as a result of suspension for yellow card accumulation.
 Like the rest of the Newcastle defence, Burn has clean sheet points in four of his past five games. But the problem with Burn for FPL managers is that he carries little attacking threat.
The centre-back hasn’t scored or assisted in the Premier League this season, so you’re relying on clean sheets for his points.
 In their past two games alone, Newcastle have 1.85 Expected Goals conceded. Although they kept one clean sheet, the Magpies&#8217; defence showed they can be got at. 
Even at his low price, you can probably find a better alternative to Burn. Avoid.
