<p>Heading into the 2024/25 Premier League season’s sixth gameweek, we now have much more information to work with while looking for underpriced players.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Most of these players wouldn’t have been on many radars before the campaign got underway, but with plenty of managers now on Wildcard, we have the opportunity to reconsider certain players.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Leicester City are still winless after their opening five matches. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">However, Steve Cooper&#8217;s men have secured three draws, each from a losing position. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Central to the Foxes&#8217; efforts has been Wilfred Ndidi, whom many naturally overlooked given his presumed defensive midfielder status. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">However, in recent outings, Ndidi has been playing at number ten, yielding three assists.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He dropped deeper into midfield in the 1-1 draw with Palace, but his low price makes him worth even more so when you look at Leicester’s upcoming games. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Beyond Gameweek 6’s visit to Arsenal, seven of Leicester&#8217;s subsequent nine fixtures are rated &#8216;2/5&#8217; on the Fixture Difficulty Rating scale. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Those include home meetings against Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest, West Ham, and Brighton.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The next two gameweeks, incidentally, are also considered by many FPL managers prime times to deploy the wildcard, considering the international break and Manchester City’s subsequent run.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It&#8217;s early days, but the usual suspects occupy the Premier League chart when it comes to chances created. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bukayo Saka, Son Heung-Min, Cole Palmer, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Kevin De Bruyne feature in the top ten. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">However none of them top the pile as that honor goes to Everton winger Dwight McNeil (20), who has also set up the most &#8216;big chances&#8217; (6) in the Premier League this season.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">McNeil, operating from the left flank, has registered one goal and two assists, which he could further improve on as Everton have the league’s most favourable next six games according to the Fixture Difficulty Ranking (FDR).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Seven of the Toffees&#8217; next nine matches are rated 2/5, with the exceptions being Newcastle (home) and Manchester United (away).</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Anthony Gordon’s price went up this season, but the Newcastle forward hasn&#8217;t delivered for FPL managers who made the investment, with Gordon managing just one goal and dropping -0.2 in value.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On the other hand, Harvey Barnes &#8211; his fellow Magpie ‘midfielder’ &#8211; started the FPL campaign £1m cheaper and has earned 27 points across his last three outings (three goals). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Before that, he registered an assist in a 32-minute cameo against Bournemouth. Furthermore, only the indomitable Erling Haaland has more bonus points this season.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Perhaps more encouragingly, Barnes played his first 90 minutes against Fulham after impressing each time he came off the bench previously. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He’s a strong option to consider after Newcastle’s upcoming game against City (if not before – the champions are yet to keep a clean sheet in the league since Gameweek 1).</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There are very few useful £4.5m midfielders in FPL this season. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">One to keep an eye on is Southampton midfielder Tyler Dibling, who has only recently cemented a berth in Russell Martin&#8217;s first team. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The promising youngster is arguably the best £4.5m option in midfield right now, and last time out against fellow-promoted side Ipswich, in which he made his second start, Dibling netted while claiming three bonus points. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Southampton have four upcoming matches rated 2/5 by the FDR, and have shown decent attacking form despite lapses in defence.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Dibling could be a solid fifth midfielder, allowing you to invest funds elsewhere with the Southampton man potentially chipping in as a differential.</span></p>
