<p dir="auto"><strong>Andreas Pereira's</strong> eight points felt like a double-digit return in a week where popular picks flopped and scores were low across the board.</p>
<p dir="auto">It was a poor week for premium defenders, except for <strong>Ivan Perisic (£5.5m)</strong>.</p>
<p dir="auto">He repaid the faith for holding him and showed Antonio Conte the 'Ivan he knows from Inter'.</p>
<p dir="auto">I'm happy to stick with Perisic. We're going to see double-digit hauls and one-point cameo appearances but I’m all in on the roller coaster.</p>
<p dir="auto">Leaving <strong>Illan Meslier (£4.5m)</strong> on the bench for <strong>Danny Ward (£4.5m)</strong> felt like the right decision but at this rate I can’t see Leicester keeping a clean against anyone.</p>
<p dir="auto">It's likely the last time I play a Leicester goalkeeper all season.</p>

<p>In terms of rank, I'm moving in the right direction.</p>
<p>I'm comfortable at 3.7m at this point in the season. I originally wanted to take risks early and <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fantasy-premier-league-wildcard-and-when-to-use-it">Wildcard</a> early.</p>
<p>In the first three gameweeks, my thinking has changed.</p>
<p>I don’t have confidence in the cheaper assets from some of the mid-table teams.</p>
<p>I'm happy to stick with players from top teams and be patient for them to come good.</p>
<p>I'm looking at either using transfers to move away from top-five teams starting in Gameweek 7 and Wildcard in Gameweek 11 or 12, or Wildcard in around Gameweek 7 or 8 and use transfers to bring them back in Gameweek 11 or 12.</p>
