Premier League players face a suspension if they pick up too many yellow cards &#8211; but what are the rules and who is closest to a one-match ban?
Here, we list every player currently banned &#8211; be it for red cards or collecting yellow cards &#8211; and those at most risk of missing a game.

<h2>What are the rules on yellow cards?</h2>
Players who received five yellow cards in their sides&#8217; first 19 games served a one-match ban.
The threshold then rose to 10 yellows over the first 32 games, met with a two-match ban, followed by a three-match ban for 15 yellows in 38 games.
A suspension for picking up too many bookings must be served in the Premier League &#8211; not the FA Cup or Carabao Cup.
<h3>How many games have each team played?</h3>
All teams have now reached the 33 game mark, and with no players on more than 10 yellows, all players are now safe from a yellow card ban this season.

Following the dismissal of both players in the Double Gameweek 36 clash between Fulham and Bournemouth, Joachim Andersen and Ryan Christie now join Dan Ballard on the list of players ruled out for the rest of the season.
