<p>Premier League players face a suspension if they pick up too many yellow cards &#8211; but what are the rules and who is closest to a one-match ban?</p>
<p>Here, we list every player currently banned &#8211; be it for red cards or collecting yellow cards &#8211; and those at most risk of missing a game.</p>

<h2>What are the rules on yellow cards?</h2>
<p>Players who received five yellow cards in their sides&#8217; first 19 games served a one-match ban.</p>
<p>The threshold then rose to 10 yellows over the first 32 games, met with a two-match ban, followed by a three-match ban for 15 yellows in 38 games.</p>
<p>A suspension for picking up too many bookings must be served in the Premier League &#8211; not the FA Cup or Carabao Cup.</p>
<h3>How many games have each team played?</h3>
<p>Most teams have now reached the 32 game mark.</p>
<p>Manchester City and Crystal Palace are both on 31 games, significantly reducing the pool of players at risk of suspension.</p>

<h2>Who&#8217;s can still be banned for picking up 10 yellow cards?</h2>
<p>Of the four clubs still to play 32 matches, only City&#8217;s <strong>Bernardo Silva </strong>can be suspended for 10 cautions.</p>
<p>The midfielder is on nine yellow cards, meaning he must avoid a booking in the first match of Double Gameweek 33 to be safe from suspension.</p>
<h2>Who has the most yellow cards?</h2>
<p>With the threshold for bookings now 15 for the majority, here&#8217;s who has the most.</p>
<p>Most clubs only have six fixtures remaining, so FPL managers can largely relax, with a string of consecutive bookings needed for a ban.</p>

<h2>Who&#8217;s currently suspended?</h2>

<p><strong>Yerson Mosquera</strong>, <strong>Lewis Dunk </strong>and <strong>Joelinton </strong>are all currently suspended for reaching 10 bookings.</p>
<p>Joelinton and Mosquera will be eligible to return in Gameweek 35.</p>
<p>Dunk has already sat out one of his two matches, so will be eligible for selection for Brighton&#8217;s second fixture of Double Gameweek 33.</p>
<p>On Monday night (April 13), United&#8217;s <strong>Lisandro Martinez </strong>was sent off for pulling <strong>Dominic Calvert-Lewin&#8217;s </strong>hair. He will be out until Gameweek 36.</p>
