<p>Gakpo was absent from Monday's training session prior to Liverpool's midweek trip to the San Siro, and manager Arne Slot subsequently confirmed his injury.</p>
<p>While Slot didn't mention a concrete return date, the Dutchman did confirm that Gakpo will be out for several weeks:</p>

<h2>Should Gakpo be sold in FPL?</h2>
<p>With Gakpo set to miss "a few weeks" of Premier League action, there's a good chance the Netherlands international won't return until January.</p>
<p>Not only is this a long time in FPL terms, but it also sees a shift in Liverpool's fixtures, so there appears to be no real reason to hold on to Gakpo following the confirmation of his injury.</p>
<p>His value is <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-player-price-change-predictions-fantasy-football-hub/">likely to drop</a> sooner rather than later, and there are plenty of midfield alternatives available both from Liverpool and other clubs.</p>
